1969 FORD F100

OVERVIEW

This 1969 Ford F100 was the grand prize in a 2018 Goodguys giveaway. It was built by Lucky 7 Speed Shop of Sutter Creek, California. Power is provided by a Roush Performance 5.0-liter Ford Coyote V8 backed by a Tremec T-56 six-speed manual transmission. Features include Vintage Air climate controls, Dakota Digital gauges, a custom frame constructed by Scott's Hotrods 'n Customs, Wilwood four-wheel disc brakes, power windows, a tilt steering column, a Kicker digital stereo and subwoofer, and a hard tonneau cover. Finished in Toner Red and satin black over a black leather interior, this F100 is available now and comes with the Goodguys Goodtimes Gazette it was featured in and a clear Arizona title.

EXTERIOR - FEATURES

The cab and bed were modified in 2017 by Lucky 7 Speed Shop and refinished in PPG Toner Red. Features include filled factory panel seams, a smoothed and modified body-colored front bumper, updated LED headlights, a matte black grille and side trim, a smoothed hood with a matte black accent panel, and matte black rearview mirror housings, door handles, and drip rails. Additional features include a shaved cab-mounted fuel filler, a custom fabricated hard tonneau cover with a matte black rear spoiler, rear side-exit exhaust openings, a short fleetside pickup box with a custom-fabricated raised bed floor and a color-matched spray-on bed liner, new batteries, a custom rear tailgate panel, and a rear roll pan.

EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES

A set of matte black 18-inch U.S. Mags wheels is wrapped in Nitto tires.

INTERIOR - FEATURES

A set of TMI reclining bucket seats is upholstered in black leather with red stitching. Features include power windows, a black leather center console with a Hurst manual shifter, a Kicker KMC2 digital stereo with a subwoofer, manual steering and brakes, a Flaming River tilt steering column with a black aluminum Flashpower steering wheel, and a body-colored steel dashboard with a black leather TMI top pad.

INTERIOR - GAUGES

A set of Dakota Digital analog gauges includes a 120-mph speedometer with a Goodguys logo, an 8K-rpm tachometer, and gauges for the fuel level, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and voltage.

ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION

Power is provided by a Roush Performance 5.0-liter Ford Coyote V8 and backed by a Tremec T-56 six-speed manual transmission with a Centerforce clutch. Underhood features include a smooth body-colored firewall, matte red hand-fabricated inner wheel wells, a PRC (Performance Rod & Custom) aluminum radiator, polished hydraulic clutch reservoirs, and billet aluminum hood hinges.

UNDERCARRIAGE

The hand-fabricated chassis was built by Scott's Hotrods 'n Customs in 2017. Features include an independent front suspension, rack-and-pinion steering, an aluminum driveshaft, a solid Moser nine-inch rear drive axle mounted with a four-bar setup and a Watts link, an aluminum fuel cell, and JRi adjustable hydraulic coilovers. Braking is provided by 14-inch Wilwood discs with six-piston calipers.
