Vehicle Story

OVERVIEW

This 1937 Ford Woody Wagon is reportedly the product of a $200,000+ build in the early 2000s. It is powered by a General Motors 383ci stroker V8 paired with Holley Sniper fuel injection and a 700R4 four-speed automatic transmission. Features include a four-wheel independent air suspension, a Vintage Air climate control system, power windows, rack-and-pinion steering, a tilt steering column, air conditioning, and power disc brakes. Finished in Sunburst Bronze with wood trim over a tan leather interior, this garage-kept Woody Wagon comes with a roof-mounted surfboard and a clear Colorado title in the name of the seller's LLC.

EXTERIOR - FEATURES

The Downs Industries fiberglass body was refinished in Sunburst Bronze and equipped with maple wood trim. Features include a ribbed front bumper, an aluminum grille, a three-piece hood, shaved door handles, a tan canvas roof, tinted glass, a roof-mounted surfboard, dual mirrors, and dual taillights.

EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES

The 17-inch front and 18-inch rear Budnik Gasser billet wheels are wrapped in Continental radial tires.

INTERIOR - FEATURES

The front bucket seats and the rear seat are upholstered in tan leather. Features include a tan center console that houses cup holders and the air ride suspension switches and gauge. Additional features include power windows, power brakes, rack-and-pinion steering, a tilt steering column, a three-spoke billet steering wheel, Vintage Air climate controls, a Panasonic AM/FM/CD stereo, a wood slat headliner, and a disabled rear-mounted nitrous tank.

INTERIOR - GAUGES

The AutoMeter Pro-Comp Ultra-Lite instrumentation includes a 160-mph speedometer, an 8K-rpm tachometer, and gauges for the fuel level, oil pressure, and coolant temperature. The odometer reads 7,250 miles, which the seller believes to be accurate.

ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION

Power is provided by a General Motors 383ci stroker V8 paired with Holley Sniper fuel injection and a 700R4 four-speed automatic transmission. Underhood features black and Sunburst Bronze valve covers, an aluminum intake, a 6AL MSD electronic ignition, an aluminum air cleaner, a chrome alternator, a polished air conditioning air compressor, and a Griffin aluminum radiator.

UNDERCARRIAGE

The body is mounted on a C4 Corvette frame and rides on an air suspension. Braking is provided by power discs. A full-length dual exhaust system exits at the rear.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS

A roof-mounted surfboard is included with the purchase of the vehicle.
