OVERVIEW
This 1974 Dodge Charger SE is equipped with bucket seats, simulated woodgrain trim, American Racing wheels, and a dual exhaust system. It is powered by a 440ci V8 mated to a three-speed automatic transmission. Finished in black and equipped with a black vinyl roof over a black vinyl interior, this third-generation Charger is now offered by the selling dealer with an owner’s manual, uninstalled parts detailed below, and a clear title.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
The black exterior features an SE-branded hood ornament, chrome brightwork, rocker trim, a black vinyl top, louvered quarter windows, bumper guards, and a dual exhaust system.
EXTERIOR – WHEELS AND TIRES
American Racing five-spoke polished aluminum wheels are wrapped in Cooper Cobra Radial G/T tires.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The cockpit is fitted with black vinyl upholstery for the high-back front buckets and the rear bench, matched to the door panels, dash, carpeting, and floor mats. Additional features include simulated woodgrain trim, power steering and brakes, power windows, an AM/FM radio, air conditioning, and a vinyl trunk mat. The selling dealer notes that there are some tears in the headliner.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
Instrumentation includes a 120-mph speedometer, a 7K-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges for the fuel level, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and voltage. Aftermarket gauges for the oil pressure and coolant temperature are mounted under the dash. The five-digit mechanical odometer reads 94,392 miles, although the dealer states that the true mileage on the chassis is unknown.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
The non-numbers-matching 440ci V8 is equipped with a four-barrel carburetor. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a console-shifted three-speed automatic transmission.
UNDERCARRIAGE
Additional photos showing the underside are available in the carousel on the right.
