2006 CHEVROLET CORVETTE

OVERVIEW

This garage-kept 2006 Chevrolet Corvette coupe has been driven 10,930 miles since new and comes with a transparent removable roof panel and a set of chrome Z06-style wheels with Goodyear Eagle tires. Power is supplied by an unmodified 6.0-liter LS2 V8 mated to a six-speed automatic transaxle. After being sold new by George Matick Chevrolet in Redford, Michigan, this C6 spent time in Delaware before being relocated to New Jersey in 2011. EXTERIOR – FEATURES

The Black exterior is topped with a factory-optioned transparent removable roof panel. Features include xenon headlamps, fog lights, fender vents, and quad exhaust outlets. EXTERIOR – WHEELS AND TIRES

The 18-inch front and 19-inch rear chrome aftermarket C6 Corvette Z06-style wheels are wrapped in Z-rated 245/40 front and 285/35 rear Goodyear Eagle F1 tires. The selling dealer notes minor knicks in the outer lip of the front passenger-side wheel.

INTERIOR – FEATURES

The cockpit is optioned with the Preferred Equipment Group and is trimmed with heated and power-adjustable Ebony leather bucket seats with perforated inserts. Amenities include dual-zone automatic climate control, power windows, power door locks, cruise control, keyless access with push-button start, a head-up display, power mirrors, a tilt steering column, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, and a Bose six-disc, seven-speaker audio system. INTERIOR – GAUGES

Instrumentation includes a 200-mph speedometer, a 7,500-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges showing the coolant temperature, oil pressure, voltage, and fuel level. The digital odometer reads 10,930 miles, which is in line with the most recent CARFAX mileage figure of 10,446 logged in June 2022.

ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION

The LS2 6.0-liter V8 was rated at 400 horsepower and 400 lb-ft of torque when new. An oil change was carried out in June 2022. Power is fed to the rear wheels via a six-speed automatic transaxle with paddle shifters. The vehicle passed a New Jersey emissions inspection in June 2021.

UNDERCARRIAGE

The suspension is a four-wheel independent setup. Steering is power-assisted. Stopping power comes from a four-wheel anti-lock disc brake system along with traction control. The brake fluid was changed in June 2022, per the CARFAX report.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS

The CARFAX report shows an incident in 2016, which reportedly involved the front bumper being backed into, followed by a subsequent professional repair.
