OVERVIEW
This 1959 Alfa Romeo Giulietta Sprint is a 2+2 coupe powered by a 1.6-liter inline-four engine upgrade mated to a replacement five-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes a refurbished interior, Vredestein tires, chrome brightwork, and an aftermarket Rockwell Golde sliding sunroof. Finished in burgundy over a gray vinyl and ivory cloth interior, this Giulietta is now offered on consignment by the selling dealer with service records, parts receipts, and a clear Maryland title in the consignor's name.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
The burgundy exterior finish was applied under previous ownership and is accented with chrome brightwork for the bumpers, grille surround, headlight rings, window trim, and rocker moldings. Additionally, the car was customized with a Rockwell Golde sliding sunroof. Other features include an egg-crate-style grille and a driver-side mirror. The selling dealer has provided close-ups in the gallery to the right that show blemishes such as paint cracks, chips, lower panel corrosion, and brightwork patina.
EXTERIOR – WHEELS AND TIRES
Steel 15-inch wheels with chrome hubcaps are wrapped in 165/80 Vredestein T-Trac tires.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The interior is furnished with reupholstered gray vinyl and ivory cloth bucket seats up front and newer upholstery for the headliner and door panels. Features include lap belts, manual windows, and a trunk-mounted spare tire. The selling dealer notes there is wear on the carpeting, dash, and steering wheel.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
Instrumentation entails a 180-km/h speedometer, a 7K-rpm tachometer, and gauges for the fuel level, coolant temperature, and oil temperature. The five-digit mechanical odometer reads 57,000 kilometers, but the selling dealer states the true mileage on the chassis is unknown.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
The double-overhead-cam 1.6-liter four was sourced from a later-model 101-series Alfa Romeo and is fed by a 38-millimeter Weber two-barrel carburetor. Updates include a re-core of the radiator and a re-lining of the fuel tank using a Gas Tank Renu system. Power is fed to the rear wheels via a replacement five-speed manual transmission.
UNDERCARRIAGE
Stopping power is provided by recently serviced four-wheel drum brakes. The selling dealer notes that the brake lights need attention. Additional photos showing the underside are available in the carousel, where corrosion and evidence of prior sheet metal repairs is visible.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS
The sale includes service records and parts receipts.

Note from the owner re the exterior paint: it is an older lacquer paint job, which is the cause of the cracking and crazing.
