OVERVIEW
This reportedly unrestored 1977 Chevrolet Camaro Type LT is a one-owner car that was originally purchased in Germany and later shipped to the U.S. It is powered by a reportedly numbers-matching 5.0-liter V8 backed by a three-speed automatic transmission. Features include power brakes, power steering, a tilt steering column, an AM/FM/CD stereo, and removable roof panels. Finished in white over a black vinyl interior, this garage-kept second-generation Camaro is available now and comes from the selling dealer with a clear Florida title.
EXTERIOR - FEATURES
The reportedly rust-free white exterior features aluminum bumpers with guards, Bosch clear fog lights, stainless steel wheel well trim, color-keyed sport mirror caps, a Bosch security system with a hidden safety lock, removable roof panels, a rear-mounted Bosch fog light, and rear body trim. Chrome bodyside impact strips, door handle inserts, keyhole trim, quarter panel clearance lights, and Limited Edition emblems have been added.
EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES
A set of 14-inch Polycast wheels with chrome center caps and stainless trim rings is wrapped in radial tires.
INTERIOR - FEATURES
The front bucket seats, rear seat, trim, and door panels are upholstered in black vinyl. Features include power steering, power brakes, manual windows, an AM/FM/CD stereo, a tilt steering wheel, and an aftermarket plastic compass. Additional features include a center console, aftermarket simulated woodgrain trim, and cup holders. The selling dealer states that there is wear on the driver-side rubber.
INTERIOR - GAUGES
A 120-mph speedometer, a 7K-rpm tachometer, a clock, and gauges for the fuel level, temperature, and voltage are mounted in a simulated woodgrain panel ahead of the driver. The odometer reads 84,000 miles, which the selling dealer believes to be accurate. They state that the clock does not work.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
Power is provided by a reportedly numbers-matching 5.0-liter V8 and backed by a three-speed automatic transmission. Underhood features include a light blue intake and brake power booster. The selling dealer states that a new generator and fuel pump have been installed within the last year.
UNDERCARRIAGE
This Camaro was factory-equipped with an independent front suspension and a solid rear drive axle. The undercarriage has a protective undercoating on it. Braking is provided by power front discs and rear drums. A rear-mounted trailer hitch receiver, which is equipped with a trailer wiring plug and an electrically retractable ball hitch, has been installed. According to the selling dealer, accessories such as the hitch receiver were installed by the original dealer/importer in Germany.
