OVERVIEW
This restored 1972 MG MGB roadster is powered by a 1,798cc inline-four backed by a four-speed manual transmission. Features include a newer front suspension, dual carburetors, a folding convertible top, and an AM/FM/cassette stereo. Finished in green and equipped with a black soft top over a saddle vinyl interior, this reportedly rust-free MGB is available now and comes with photos, vehicle records, a tonneau cover, and a clear Georgia title in the seller's name.
EXTERIOR - FEATURES
During the restoration 15 years ago, the exterior was refinished in green. Features include chrome bumpers with guards, full-length bodyside trim, dual mirrors, a black folding convertible top with plastic rear windows, and a luggage rack.
EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES
A set of 14-inch silver knock-off wire wheels is wrapped in 175/70/14 Goodride SP06 radial tires.
INTERIOR - FEATURES
The bucket seats are upholstered in saddle vinyl. Features include a black center console; manual steering, brakes, and windows; an AM/FM/cassette stereo; and a three-spoke sport steering wheel.
INTERIOR - GAUGES
A 120-mph speedometer, a 7K-rpm tachometer, and gauges for the fuel level, oil pressure, and temperature are located ahead of the driver. The odometer reads 12,477 miles, but the true mileage on this vehicle is unknown.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
Power is provided by a dual-carburetor 1,798cc inline-four engine and backed by a four-speed manual transmission. During the seller's three years of ownership, the master cylinder and head gasket have been replaced and electronic ignition has been installed. The seller states that the overdrive is not working.
UNDERCARRIAGE
This MG is equipped with an independent front suspension with newer components and a solid rear drive axle. Braking is provided by manual front discs and rear drums. A single exhaust system exits at the rear.
