OVERVIEW
This 1962 Chevrolet C20 is a California-owned, reportedly rust-free pickup powered by a 230ci High Torque inline-six mated to a four-speed manual transmission. Features include bench seating, lap belts, and manual windows. Finished in turquoise over a gray vinyl interior, this C20 is now offered with a set of removed original hubcaps and a clear California title in the seller’s name.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
The exterior was repainted turquoise approximately 30 years ago and comes equipped with a white grille and bumpers. Features include dual mirrors and padded tailgate chains.
EXTERIOR – WHEELS AND TIRES
The black wheels are wrapped in bias-ply tires.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The cab is equipped with a gray vinyl bench seat and black flooring. Features include lap belts, vent windows, and a glove compartment.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
Instrumentation includes a 100-mph speedometer and auxiliary gauges for the fuel level, coolant temperature, generator, and oil pressure. The five-digit mechanical odometer has rolled over and currently reads 17,000 miles. That equates to 117,000 miles, which the seller states is accurate.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
The 230ci High Torque inline-six received an oil change during the seller’s three years of ownership. Power is directed to the rear wheels via a floor-shifted four-speed manual transmission.
UNDERCARRIAGE
The rear wheel brake cylinders were replaced under the seller’s ownership
ADDITIONAL DETAILS

@Kg6piw69 – Hi Travis, yes it does work. Thanks! ...
Great! It looks like the heater hoses are good- just checking. Thanks!
@TravisH – Mr. Seller, I would like to win the auction, then drive away in this beautiful truck with my son as co-pilot. I'd like to take my time and camp on the 1,000 mile drive home, and see some things on my bucket list. So, I'm curious- is there anything you'd advise me to do to the truck or replace before hitting the road? It looks roadworthy from the photos! My wife said you should auction those delicious hubcaps and then throw in the truck!! Thanks ...
The hubcaps go with the vehicle. This was my father in laws truck who passed 4 years ago. He used to drive it all the time and gave the truck a lot of love. I drive it around the block once a month and have put it into a few parades. I haven’t taken it to far. Good luck!
