OVERVIEW
This restored 1954 Cadillac Eldorado convertible is equipped with a power seat, power windows, an Autronic Eye headlight dimmer, and wire wheels on Firestone whitewall tires. It is powered by a 331ci V8 mated to a Hydra-Matic four-speed automatic transmission and received service to the fuel system and exhaust system within the past year. Finished in Azure Blue with a white retractable top over a blue and white leather interior, this second-generation Eldorado is now offered by the selling dealer with records, a build sheet, a convertible parade top boot, color charts, manuals, a brochure, and a clear Wisconsin title.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
A complete restoration was carried out in 2010 and the body was resprayed in its original color of Azure Blue (Paint No. 19). Exterior features include chrome brightwork, anodized gold badging, rear wheel skirts, and dual exhaust outlets.
EXTERIOR – WHEELS AND TIRES
Chrome 15-inch factory wire wheels with Cadillac crests are wrapped in 8.20-15 Firestone whitewall tires.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The two-tone interior is outfitted with white and blue leather benches front and rear, matched to the door panels, dash, and carpeting. Amenities include a power-adjustable front seat, lap belts, a push-button radio, a clock, ashtrays, power windows, an Autronic Eye headlight dimmer, a heater, and a carpeted trunk with a spare tire.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
Instrumentation consists of a sweeping 110-mph speedometer along with fuel level and coolant temperature gauges. The five-digit mechanical odometer reads 10,673 miles, which the seller states may be accurate.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
The 331ci V8 sends power to the rear wheels via a column-shifted Hydra-Matic four-speed automatic transmission.
UNDERCARRIAGE
The gas tank and the exhaust system were replaced within the last year. Braking is power-assisted. Additional photos showing the underside are available in the carousel on the right.

This Cadillac was previously sold on AutoHunter, but it is being relisted after the buyer backed out of the transaction through no fault of the seller. The sale includes records, a build sheet, a convertible parade top boot, color charts, manuals, and a brochure. I’m certainly not being argumentative and I had a professional photographer, who I use quite often, do the photos. The shoot was done indoors because of the inclement weather and perhaps it does appear to be shade off on the driver side, because of the lighting. But that would hold true on almost any car, especially a white one, on the driver side.I’m not physically at the location of the car this time of year and don’t think a cell camera picture would do justice to satisfy your concerns.
