ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION

The 4.0-liter AJ V8 was rated at 290 horsepower and 290 lb-ft of torque when new. Service in recent years includes the replacement of the drive belt tensioner, idler pulley, spark plugs, valve cover gaskets, and drive belts in 2021. The seller recommends changing the radiator and transmission fluids. Power is fed to the rear wheels via a ZF five-speed automatic transmission.
