OVERVIEW
This 2003 Porsche Boxster S roadster has been driven 18,139 miles since new and is powered by a 3.2-liter flat-six mated to a six-speed manual transaxle. It has resided in Oklahoma under garage-kept ownership and received service within the last 2,000 miles that included the replacement of the spark plugs, ignition coils, and fuel pump. Equipment includes xenon headlights, an active rear spoiler, and 18-inch Carrera wheels. Finished in Arctic Silver Metallic with a black power-retractable top over a black leather interior, this 986-series Boxster is now offered by the selling dealer in New Jersey with a car cover, service records, a window sticker, a clean CARFAX report, and a clear Oklahoma title.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
The Arctic Silver Metallic exterior is capped off with a power-retractable black top and comes equipped with xenon headlights, fog lamps, heated windshield washers, roll hoops, a speed-activated rear spoiler, and center-exit dual exhaust outlets. The selling dealer notes that there are some small chips in the finish and a scuff underneath the front fascia.
EXTERIOR – WHEELS AND TIRES
Aluminum 18-inch Carrera five-spoke wheels with Porsche center crests are wrapped in older Michelin Pilot Sport tires, which are sized 225/40 up front and 265/35 in the rear.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The cockpit is fitted with power-adjustable black leather bucket seats, matched to the door panels, dash, carpeting, and Porsche-branded floor mats. Features include a Bose AM/FM/six-CD audio system, an onboard computer, automatic climate control, power windows, power door locks, and cruise control.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
Instrumentation consists of a central 8K-rpm tachometer, a 180-mph speedometer, and auxiliary gauges for the fuel level and coolant temperature. The digital odometer reads 18,139 miles, which is in line with the mileage shown on the CARFAX report.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
The mid-mounted 3.2-liter flat-six was rated at 250 horsepower and 225 lb-ft of torque when new. It received service at a Porsche dealership in June 2021 that included an oil change, a fender liner replacement, the installation of new ignition coils, the replacement of the fuel pump and spark plugs, and a fluid checkup. Additionally, in 2005 the rear main seal was replaced. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a six-speed manual transaxle.
UNDERCARRIAGE
Stopping power comes from four-piston anti-lock disc brakes with cross-drilled rotors. Handling is assisted by a Porsche stability management system.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS
The CARFAX report shows no accidents or damage on record. There is a manufacturer safety recall dated August 2022 regarding a sealing cap on the headlights. The selling dealer has provided a video with an exterior and interior walkaround while the vehicle is running. The sale includes a California Car Cover, service records, and a window sticker showing an original retail price of $57,475.
