OVERVIEW
This 1963 Chevrolet Corvair Monza Spyder was restored under prior ownership. It sends power from a turbocharged 145ci flat-six engine through a four-speed manual transmission to the rear wheels. Features include vent windows, a cue ball-style shift knob, a full-size spare, and a chrome exhaust tip. Finished in red and equipped with a power black convertible top over a red vinyl interior, this Corvair is available now and comes from the selling dealer with a convertible top boot and a clear title.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
The red exterior is accented with chrome bumpers, bright trim, and a single chrome exhaust tip. The power-operated black convertible top is equipped with a plastic rear window.
EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES
This Corvair Monza Spyder rolls on 13-inch steel wheels with wire covers and whitewall tires.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The interior comes outfitted with red vinyl bucket front seats and a matching rear bench and surrounding materials. Other features include vent windows, a cue ball-style shift knob, a radio, and metallic trim on the dashboard.
INTERIOR - GAUGES
Behind the red steering wheel sits a 120-mph speedometer, a 6K-rpm tachometer, and readouts for the fuel level, coolant temperature, and manifold pressure. The five-digit analog odometer shows 13,938 miles, but the actual mileage on the chassis is unknown.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
At the rear of this Corvair Monza Spyder is a turbocharged 145ci flat-six engine. A four-speed manual transmission operated by a floor-mounted shifter delivers the engine’s output to the road. A full-size spare is located on the right side of the engine bay.

@dicksanderson – Please comment on the 'fit' of the 'frunk'. The front hood gaps, especially on the driver's side, are wide. Was the car in an accident and/or can this gap be easily adjusted. Thanks for responding. Otherwise, a very nice Corvair. Thank you. ...
I believe the hood can be adjusted a bit more to fix that gap. No signs I've seen of an accident. Undercarriage is very clean and solid.

The gauges work other than the Tacho. Engine and transmission were gone through by the pervious owner. Up shifting and down shifting smooth with plenty of power .
