OVERVIEW
This restored 1956 Ford Thunderbird is powered by a rebuilt 312ci Ford Y-block V8 engine backed by a Ford-O-Matic three-speed automatic transmission. Features include power steering, a removable hard top with port holes, air conditioning, an AM/FM stereo, and new 15-inch wire wheels. Finished in Sunset Coral and equipped with a black Haartz replacement convertible top over a new Raven Black and White vinyl interior, this reportedly rust-free Thunderbird is available now and comes from the selling dealer with a clear Texas title.
EXTERIOR - FEATURES
The exterior has been refinished in what the selling dealer states is the original color of Sunset Coral. Features include chrome bumpers, a hood scoop, side air intake vents, a driver-side mirror, a fender-mounted antenna, a removable Colonial White hard top with a port hole, a black Haartz convertible top with a plastic rear window, rear wheel skirts, and a Continental kit with a new wire wheel wrapped in a whitewall tire.
EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES
A set of new 15-inch chrome wire wheels with three-spoke spinner center caps is wrapped in whitewall radial tires.

The bench seat and door panels are upholstered in Raven Black and White vinyl. Features include manual windows, a floor-mounted automatic shifter, air conditioning, an AM/FM stereo, power steering, and manual brakes.
INTERIOR - GAUGES
A 150-mph speedometer, a clock, a 5K-rpm tachometer, and gauges for the fuel level and temperature are mounted ahead of the driver. The odometer reads 41,800 miles, but the true mileage on this vehicle is unknown.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
Power is provided by a rebuilt 312ci Ford Y-block V8 and backed by a Ford-O-Matic three-speed automatic transmission. The restored engine bay features a four-barrel carburetor, finned valve covers, a correct air cleaner with a chrome lid, a See Clear windshield washer fluid bag, a teapot four-barrel carburetor, and cast iron exhaust manifolds. According to the selling dealer, the carburetor was rebuilt, the rear main oil seal was replaced, new power steering parts were installed, and a new exhaust system was put in within the last six months.
UNDERCARRIAGE
This T-Bird was factory-equipped with an independent front suspension and a solid rear drive axle. Braking is provided by manual four-wheel drums, which were serviced within the last six months.
