OVERVIEW
This 1976 GMC K1500 Sierra Classic 4x4 short-bed pickup rides on a lifted suspension with Edelbrock shock absorbers and sits on a set of 35-inch Cooper tires. Under the hood is the reportedly numbers-matching 350ci V8, which is mated to a TH350 three-speed automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case. Interior appointments include captain’s chairs, a center console, a Boss stereo, and factory air conditioning. Finished in metallic blue over a gray cloth interior, this K1500 is now offered by the selling dealer with an owner’s booklet and a clear title.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
According to the selling dealer, the metallic blue paint and chrome show some imperfections upon closer inspection. Features include chrome bumpers, a billet grille, side steps, a sliding rear window, a Borla dual exhaust system, and a spray-in bed liner.
EXTERIOR – WHEELS AND TIRES
Polished aluminum 15-inch wheels are wrapped in 35" x 12.50" Cooper Evolution M/T tires.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The interior of the cab is fitted with gray patterned cloth seats and coordinating door panels, dash, and carpeting. Surroundings are accented with simulated woodgrain trim. Amenities include a fold-down center console, cup holders, a Boss radio with Bluetooth, rubber floor mats, Sierra Classic badging, Soft-Ray tinted glass, a ComforTilt steering column, and air conditioning. The selling dealer notes that the dash pad has been patched.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
Instrumentation includes a 100-mph speedometer and auxiliary gauges for the voltage, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and fuel level. The five-digit mechanical odometer reads 81,163 miles, but the true mileage on the chassis is unknown.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
The reportedly numbers-matching 350ci small-block V8 has chrome valve covers and a chrome Summit Racing air cleaner. Power is directed to all four wheels via a TH350 three-speed automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case.
UNDERCARRIAGE
The suspension has been lifted approximately six to eight inches and utilizes Edelbrock shock absorbers. Steering and braking are power-assisted.
