This 1982 Chevrolet Corvette Collector Edition coupe is finished in Silver-Beige over a matching interior. Powered by a 350ci L83 V8 mated to a 4-speed automatic transmission, this collector edition coupe is one of 6,759 units made for the final year of the C3 platform. Equipment includes power windows, locks, mirrors, and a rear opening hatch, air conditioning, and removable T-Tops. Located in Thousand Oaks, California, this Collectors Edition Corvette is now offered by the selling dealer with a CARFAX on a clear California title
The exterior was refinished by a previous owner in the original Silver-Beige metallic, unique to the Collectors Edition, and features graduated black striping on the hood, fenders, and doors. The car is also equipped with bronze-tinted glass T-top roof panels and a frameless lifting rear-glass hatch; both features specific to the Collectors Edition. Additional features include special badging on the hood and rear deck, dual exhaust with polished tips, and pop-up headlights.
The original 15” turbine-style alloy wheels are wrapped in BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires measuring 255/60 on all four corners. Stopping power is provided by power-assisted four-wheel disc brakes.
The interior features silver-beige leather bucket seats, door trim, and center console lid with graduated gray scale inserts, matching the exterior. Gray carpeting covers the floor, while the dash and leather-wrapped steering wheel are gray as well. Features include a power-adjustable driver's seat, power windows, air-conditioning, tilt/telescoping steering wheel, and an aftermarket JVC stereo with AM/FM/CD/aux capability. The windshield wipers are currently inoperable
Instrumentation includes an 85-mph speedometer and tachometer with a 4,500-rpm redline. Auxiliary gauges are located in the center console and provide readouts for fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, oil temperature, and voltage, though the fuel gauge is inoperable. The five-digit odometer shows 54K miles, which is claimed original to the vehicle.
The 350ci L83 V8 utilized the Cross-Fire Injection system with dual throttle bodies and was factory rated for 200 horsepower and 285 lb-ft of torque when new. Power is routed to the rear wheels through a 700R4 4-speed automatic transmission, which was the only available option for the Corvette in 1982.
Included in the sale are various maintenance records from prior owners.
