Vehicle Story

OVERVIEW

This 1960 Chevrolet Corvette convertible has been restored and is powered by an upgraded 350ci V8 mated to a four-speed manual transmission and a Positraction rear end. Equipment includes a Wonderbar AM radio, whitewall tires, and a dual exhaust system. Finished in Tuxedo Black with silver coves and equipped with a white retractable top over a newer black vinyl interior, this C1 Corvette is now offered by the selling dealer with a clear Pennsylvania title.

EXTERIOR – FEATURES

This Corvette convertible’s two-tone Tuxedo Black and silver body is complemented by a white vinyl retractable top. Exterior features include chrome brightwork, vented front fenders, and a dual exhaust system that exits through the rear split bumper.

EXTERIOR – WHEELS AND TIRES

Steel 15-inch wheels with spinner-style polished covers are wrapped in whitewall bias-ply tires.

INTERIOR – FEATURES

The two-seat cockpit is furnished with reupholstered black vinyl bucket seats, matched to the door panels, dash, and carpeting. Features include silver accents, a Wonderbar push-button AM radio, a passenger-side grab-handle, and polished door sill plates.

INTERIOR – GAUGES

Instrumentation consists of a 160-mph speedometer, a 7K-rpm tachometer, a clock, and gauges for the fuel level, coolant temperature, voltage, and oil pressure. The five-digit mechanical odometer reads 55,190 miles, but the true mileage on the chassis is unknown.

ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION

The upgraded 350ci V8 is equipped with an Edelbrock aluminum intake and a Carter four-barrel carburetor. Power is fed to the back wheels via a four-speed manual transmission and a Positraction rear end.

UNDERCARRIAGE

Stopping power comes from drum brakes.

@Nickf – So, in addition to purchase price, I have to pay 6.5% in service fee, $125 to you and then shipping to my destination. Is that correct?. Tat beautiful 1960 corvette to cost over 90k when all is said and done if purchased around $80k assuming the reserve was taken off at that price. I do have that right?. ...

I believe the way it'll work is the 6.5% buyers premium is charged to your credit when you're the winning bidder. You'll also pay us the winning bid amount plus $145 is fees and taxes. Shipping would be a separate charge whether you use your own 3rd party carrier or broker, or if you'd like us to arrange enclosed transport for you. You'll also likely pay a registration and/or sales tax to your local DMV when you register the car in your state. Hope that makes sense...
