OVERVIEW

This 1995 Chevrolet C1500 was put through a reportedly $23,000 restoration and build process. It s powered by a 383ci stroker V8 based on a 5.7-liter Vortec engine backed by a 4L60-E four-speed automatic transmission. EXTERIOR - FEATURES

The exterior was put through a reportedly $7,000 paint and body refurbishment process that included a respray in Blue Jeans Metallic and new door skins, rockers, and corner caps, as well as the tailgate. The seller states there is no Bondo present, all rusted parts were replaced, and the corner caps were welded into place. Features include a color-keyed front bumper and grille with a chrome bow tie emblem, new mirrors, a short fleetside bed, and a body-color rear roll pan. The badging and truck identification stickers and emblems have been removed. The seller notes that this truck has always been garaged and covered and has never been exposed to the elements since the refurbishment was completed. EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES

A set of new 20" x 8.5" front and 20" x 10" rear chrome Ridler wheels wrapped in new Firestone low-profile radial tires were installed after the refurbishment was finished.

INTERIOR - FEATURES

The cabin received a new blue vinyl cover for the bench seat along with a new carpet kit, headliner, and door panel materials. Features include power steering, power brakes, a tilt steering column with an automatic shifter, a driver-side airbag, the original AM/FM/cassette stereo, and manual windows.

INTERIOR - GAUGES

A 100-mph speedometer, a 5K-rpm tachometer, and gauges for the fuel level, battery voltage, oil pressure, and coolant temperature are located ahead of the driver. The odometer reads 1,894 miles, which reflects the mileage since full restoration. The true mileage on this vehicle is 178,254 miles, according to the seller. The last mileage figure of 176,360 miles on the CARFAX report was recorded in August 2013.

ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION

Features include a black engine block and heads, the original black Vortec valve covers, an aluminum intake, a 750-cfm Holley dual-feed four-barrel carburetor with an electric choke, a finned aluminum air cleaner, an MSD electronic ignition, and a TCI Automotive EZ-TCU transmission controller. UNDERCARRIAGE

This Chevrolet truck was factory-equipped with an independent front suspension and a solid rear drive axle. Braking is provided by power front discs and rear drums. The new complete Flowmaster exhaust system exits behind the rear tire of the vehicle and ends in dual chrome tips. The seller states that the suspension has been lowered two inches in the front and four inches in the rear. A Powertrax Lock-Right Locker and new steel brake lines, pads, and rotors have been installed. The seller states there is surface rust on the frame.
