OVERVIEW
This 1966 Ford Mustang convertible draws power from its reportedly original 289ci V8 mated to an automatic transmission. Equipment includes Hankook whitewall tires, a radio, and chrome brightwork. Finished in Tahoe Turquoise with a white power-retractable top over a two-tone Aqua vinyl interior, this first-generation Mustang is now offered by the selling dealer with a vinyl convertible boot and a clear title.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
This Mustang convertible received a respray in Tahoe Turquoise and comes equipped with a power-retractable white top. Exterior features include chrome brightwork, an antenna, 289 badging, rocker moldings, and a single exhaust outlet.
EXTERIOR – WHEELS AND TIRES
Steel 14-inch wheels with hubcaps are wrapped in Hankook Optimo whitewall tires.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The interior is fitted with two-tone Aqua vinyl low-back bucket seats up front and a matching rear bench and door panels. Amenities include vent windows, lap belts, and a push-button radio. The trunk contains a whitewall spare tire.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
Instrumentation includes a 140-mph speedometer and auxiliary gauges for the fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and voltage. The five-digit mechanical odometer reads 30,868 miles, although the true mileage on the chassis is unknown.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
The reportedly original 289ci V8 sends power to the rear wheels via a floor-shifted automatic transmission.
