OVERVIEW
This 1966 Ford Mustang hardtop is powered by a 289ci V8 mated to a four-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes a Monte Carlo bar, woodgrain interior trim, chrome brightwork, and a radio. Finished in red over a black vinyl interior, this first-generation Mustang is now offered by the selling dealer with an original bill of sale and a clear California title.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
The red exterior is accompanied by chrome brightwork for the bumpers, grille surround, mirror caps, and window trim. The rocker panels have white striping and Mustang decals. Features include auxiliary front lighting, a Mustang GT fuel filler cap, and dual exhaust outlets that exit through the lower rear fascia.
EXTERIOR – WHEELS AND TIRES
Styled steel 15-inch wheels are wrapped in BFGoodrich Radial T/A raised-white-letter tires.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The cabin is fitted with black vinyl bucket seats up front and a bench in the rear, matched to the door panels, dash, and carpeting. Features include manual steering and brakes, woodgrain dash trim, a wood-rimmed steering wheel, a radio, and lap belts.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
Instrumentation includes a central 140-mph speedometer surrounded by gauges for the voltage, fuel level, oil pressure, and coolant temperature. The selling dealer reports that the five-digit mechanical odometer that reads 78,100 miles is accurate.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
The 289ci V8 received an oil change in recent months, according to the selling dealer. Engine bay features include an export brace, a Monte Carlo bar, and Ford Racing valve covers. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a floor-shifted four-speed manual transmission.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS
The sale includes an original bill of sale. A $175 dealer fee will be added to the sale price of the vehicle.
