OVERVIEW
This restored 1971 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme convertible is reportedly a special-order car that was built in Lansing, Michigan and has been with the seller for six years. It is powered by a Mondello Performance Products 425ci V8 backed by a Muncie M20 four-speed manual transmission. Features include power steering, power front disc brakes, air conditioning, an AM radio with an 8-track tape player, bucket seats, a power convertible top, and an Outside Air Induction (OAI) hood. Finished in Ford Magma Red over a Sienna vinyl interior, this garage-kept Cutlass Supreme is available now and comes with the original Oldsmobile rims, the original numbers-matching 350ci V8 F1 high-nickel-content engine block, the original body trim package, and a Rhode Island Registration Certificate in the seller's name.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
According to the seller, this Cutlass was in storage for 38 years, then restored in 2020. During that process, the driver- and passenger-side rear quarters were replaced with factory GM parts and the exterior was refinished in Ford's Magma Red. Features include chrome bumpers, a Thornton Muscle Cars W25 OAI hood with twist hood locks, white hood and side stripes, 442 emblems, color-keyed sport mirror caps, a power white convertible top with a glass rear window, and a rear spoiler. According to the seller, there are chips in the paint. A walk-around video with the engine running can be seen below.
EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES
A set of Super Stock II wheels is wrapped in Mastercraft Avenger G/T radial tires.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The front bucket seats and the rear seat are upholstered in Sienna vinyl. Features include power steering and brakes, a center console with a locking storage compartment and a manual transmission shifter, factory air conditioning, an AM radio with an 8-track tape player, woodgrain accents, and a sport steering wheel with a black grip. An interior tour is shown in one of the videos below.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
A 120-mph speedometer, a 7K-rpm Tic Toc Tach, and gauges for the fuel level, oil pressure, and coolant temperature are located ahead of the driver. With 600 miles added during current ownership, the odometer reads 58,666 miles, which the seller reports to be accurate.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
The seller reports this Cutlass was originally a higher-horsepower model. The engine has been replaced with a Mondello Performance Products 425ci V8, which is connected to a Muncie M20 four-speed manual transmission. Underhood features include aluminum heads, orange valve covers, an aluminum intake, a black air cleaner, and red plastic 442-style inner fenders.
UNDERCARRIAGE
This Cutlass is equipped with an independent front suspension and a TO-code 12-bolt solid rear drive axle with Positraction. Braking is provided by power front discs and rear drums. A full-length dual exhaust system exits at the rear through trumpet-style outlets.

@REAP1 – How is one to get a clear title on this car? ...
The car is currently registered in the state of Rhode Island, all you would need to do is take the registration and the bill of sale to your local DMV and it all follows as normal. Dependent on the state you live in, they will either issue a new title or new registration in your name.
