INTERIOR – FEATURES

The front bucket seats, rear seat, rear trim, and door panels are upholstered with black vinyl. Features include a center console with simulated woodgrain accents and a three-speed manual Hurst shifter, power steering, power brakes, manual windows, a digital AM/FM/CD stereo, and a three-spoke steering wheel with a wood rim.

INTERIOR – GAUGES

A 120-mph speedometer, an 8K-rpm tachometer, a fuel gauge, and warning lights for the battery, oil pressure, and coolant temperature are located in a simulated woodgrain panel ahead of the driver. A set of Sunpro gauges with readouts for the oil pressure, voltage, and coolant temperature is located in a chrome panel under the dashboard. The odometer reads 51,280 miles, but the true mileage on this vehicle is unknown.

ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION

Power is provided by a WT-code Pontiac 400ci V8 and backed by a three-speed manual transmission. Engine bay features include chrome valve covers, metallic light blue engine paint, an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, a chrome air cleaner, a chrome alternator, a chrome power booster and brake master cylinder, and an Ultima Redtop battery.

UNDERCARRIAGE

This GTO was factory-equipped with an independent front suspension and a solid rear drive axle. Braking is provided by power front discs and rear drums. A full-length dual exhaust system exits at the rear.
