OVERVIEW
This 1990 Ford Bronco Eddie Bauer 4x4 sport utility vehicle has received more than $13,000 in new parts and maintenance under the seller’s ownership which includes a fresh two-tone paint job, new exhaust hardware, an updated cooling system, and an overhauled suspension. It was originally delivered to Pell City Ford in Pell City, Alabama and is powered by a 351ci Windsor V8 mated to a four-speed automatic overdrive transmission and a dual-range transfer case. Finished in two-tone Deep Shadow Blue Metallic and Light Chestnut over a Chestnut cloth interior, this three-owner Bronco is now offered with service records, the original window sticker, purchase documentation, registration records, an owner’s manual, owner's booklets, a car cover, a parts catalog, the removed original wheels and tires, a clean CARFAX report, and a clear Pennsylvania title in the seller’s name.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
The Deep Shadow Blue Metallic and Light Chestnut finishes were reapplied under current ownership and are complemented by brightwork for the bumpers, mirror caps, and door handles. Exterior features include Eddie Bauer badging, a removable fiberglass hardtop, side steps, a trailer towing package, and a spare tire on a swing-away carrier at the rear.
EXTERIOR – WHEELS AND TIRES
Newer 15-inch polished aluminum American Racing wheels are wrapped in newer 31" x 10.5" BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A raised-white-letter tires.
INTERIOR - FEATURES
The interior is fitted with Chestnut cloth captain’s chairs up front and a two-seat bench in the rear, matched to the door panels, dash, and carpeting. Features include remote start, woodgrain dash trim, power windows, power door locks, floor mats, a Sony DSX-GS80 AM/FM/CD stereo, cruise control, a rear window defroster, privacy glass, and air conditioning. The seller notes that the power-operated rear window only operates via the interior switch or a button on the key fob, and the presence of small repairable chips on the driver-side dash trim.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
Instrumentation includes an 85-mph speedometer, a 6K-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges for the fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and voltage. The six-digit mechanical odometer reads 75,438 miles, which is in line with the 75,151 miles logged on the CARFAX report in March 2022 at an emissions inspection station.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
The fuel-injected 351ci Windsor V8 received extensive mechanical work as part of a $5,000+ overhaul in November 2020. Components replaced include the oil and filter, radiator hoses, spark plugs and wires, distributor cap and rotor, fuel filter, oil pan gasket, battery, thermostat, radiator cap, temperature switch, water pump, blower motor, and clutch fan. The muffler, catalytic converter, Y-pipe, and tailpipes were also replaced. A cold air intake was installed in August 2022. Power is fed to all four wheels via a column-shifted four-speed automatic overdrive transmission, a dual-range transfer case, and auto-locking front hubs.
UNDERCARRIAGE
The seller notes that the ball joints, leaf springs, front coil springs, stabilizer bars, bushings, and shock absorbers were replaced within the last five months. New steering knuckle ball joints and tie rods along with a new drag link were installed in August 2022. The truck received a four-wheel alignment and an air conditioning service during the same appointment. Handling is assisted by both power steering and power brakes. There is some surface rust noted on the undercarriage and inside the engine bay.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS
The CARFAX report shows a vehicle history free of accidents and damage. The sale includes service records, the original window sticker, purchase documentation, registration records, an owner’s manual, owner's booklets, a car cover, a parts catalog, and the removed original wheels and tires.
