This 1986 Chevrolet Blazer is finished in maroon with a white roof over gray cloth Interior. Power is provided by a recently installed 5.7-liter V8 backed by a 4-speed automatic transmission. Features include 4WD, power steering & brakes, air conditioning, power rear window, and a modern stereo. Now offered, this K5 Blazer carries with it some service records and a clean Montana title.
The body was recently refinished in Maroon Metallic, with a white removable rear hardtop. A dent is noted in the rear quarter panel, while small hail dents are present on the hood. The truck was ordered new with the Silverado trim package, which includes polished trim along the side and a brushed trim panel tailgate. Additional features include dual side mirrors, a power roll-down rear window, and a tow hitch receiver on the rear.
Factory original 15” Rallye wheels are wrapped in all-terrain tires measuring 235/75 on all four corners, which were installed recently. Braking is handled by power front disc brakes with drums on the rear.
The interior is mostly original, minus the front bucket seats and maroon carpeting. Brushed aluminum trim is featured on the door panels and dash, while the dash is fitted with a maroon cap over the original gray pad. The rear compartment retains the original gray carpet and rear seat. Additional interior features include an aftermarket AM/FM radio, air conditioning, and manual roll-down windows.
Behind the original 2-spoke steering wheel sits gauges, including a speedometer and tachometer, as well as readouts for fuel, engine temperature, and voltage. The analog odometer reads 149K miles, which is the original mileage on the body, though the new engine has approximately 2K miles on it.
The factory 305ci V8 has been replaced with a 350ci V8 engine, installed approximately 2k miles ago. Power is sent to all four wheels through the factory original 4-speed automatic transmission and 2-speed transfer case.

@Ponti – Hello, Would the Blazer make a road trip back to Texas? Also, any bondo areas? Thanks! ...
Yes. It was a mechanics daily driver. I've driven blazers my whole life and can tell by the way this one runs out that it would be fine for a road trip. I wouldn't hesitate. It has two issues that I will have corrected before it is picked up. A broken shock and the heater core doesn't work. I didn't disclose those issues in the auction because I'm going to have my local mechanic take care of those two things. I put a magnet to it and did not find any bondo whatsoever. And when you know what/where to look for on these trucks as far as rust, this one is really clean. Rockers solid, fenders and innerfenders solid.

@Sel50 – How many miles were on the 5.7L V8 before it was installed in the Blazer? ...
I was told by the estate it was purchased from that the owner was a mechanic and installed a goodwrench engine in it? So I assumed it was a new core, but I cannot be sure of that. It runs out great, sits in my garage and doesn't leak any oil on the floor. They said it was just done very recently so has only a few thousand miles on it. Certainly less than 10k

@PhilB – Are there any issues with the vehicle? Engine/drivetrain/electrical? Does the A/C work? What is the wire wrapped around the E-brake go to? ...
Dear Phil, Currently It has a broken shock in the rear as well as the heater core needs replaced. Those are the only issues. I did not disclose those issues because I am taking it to our local shop to have both of these items completed before the new owner takes it. I have no idea where that wire goes. I looked under the hood to see if it comes out of the firewall but I don't think it does so it must go to something up in the dash.
