This 2000 BMW M5 is finished in Titanium Silver Metallic over a black leather interior and powered by a 4.9-liter S62 V8 paired to a 6-speed manual transmission with a limited-slip differential. Features include a power sunroof, heated and power-adjustable front seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, and cruise control. Sold new in Florida, the car was relocated to Texas in 2001, where it has resided since. Located in Austin, Texas, this E39 M5 is now offered with partial service records, a clean CARFAX report, and a clear Texas title in the seller’s name.
Finished in Titanium Silver Metallic (354), features include xenon headlamps with washers, front fog lights, park distance control and quad-outlet exhaust. Sun damage can be seen along the window trim around the rear quarter windows, photos are available in the gallery.
Factory 18” Style 65 wheels are wrapped in Michelin Pilot Super Sports measuring 245/40 on the front and 275/35 on the rear. Braking is handled by four-wheel disc brakes all around.
The full leather interior features bucket seats upholstered in black Nappa Heritage leather with matching door panels, carpeting, and a dash. Burlwood trim is featured on the dashboard, center console and door panels accentuate while the center stacks houses controls for climate control and audio systems. An in-dash navigation system is featured, though the LCD screen is currently inoperable and will require replacement for the system's operation. Additional damages include splitting of the leather in the front of the dash and a tear along the seam of the passenger side seat; photos are shown in the gallery.
M-branded instrumentation consists of a 185-mph speedometer and an 8k-rpm tachometer, as well as gauges for fuel level, oil temperature, and coolant temperature. The digital odometer shows 125K miles, which are original to the car.
The 4.9-liter S62 V8 generates 394 horsepower at 6,600 PRM and 369-lb-ft of torque. The M5 features electronically actuated individual throttle bodies, an aluminum block and heads, and double-VANOS. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Getrag 420G 6-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. Recent maintenance includes the replacement of the starter.
Additional underside photos are available in the gallery.

@BadAgent – Inspection is encouraged, clutch is in perfect condition ...
Oh, sorry, no oil consumption issues
@BoydPennsylvania – To your knowledge, is the clutch original? What condition is it in (e.g. have you noticed any slippage or extended travel to engagement)? Is she consuming oil? Also, will the winning bidder be able to confirm condition of the car in person and/or via a nearby independent garage? ...
