This restored and upgraded 1964 Chevrolet Impala SS is powered by a 327ci V8 engine backed by a 700R4 four-speed automatic transmission. EXTERIOR – FEATURES

The exterior has been re-sprayed in Robins Egg Blue. Features include chrome bumpers, a chrome grille, dual mirrors, full-length side trim, tinted windows, and Impala emblems. The selling dealer states that the glass is free of starbursts and cracks.

A set of 17-inch chrome five-spoke American Racing wheels is wrapped in newer Toyo radial tires.

INTERIOR – FEATURES

The front bucket seats, rear seat, trim, and door panels are upholstered in black vinyl. Features include power steering and brakes, a tilt steering column, a center console with an automatic transmission shifter, an AM/FM/CD digital stereo, a padded dashboard, manual windows, and a day/night rearview mirror.

INTERIOR – GAUGES

A 120-mph speedometer, a clock, a fuel gauge, and warning lights for the coolant temperature, oil pressure, and generator are located ahead of the driver. An 8K-rpm Mooneyes tachometer is located under the dashboard. The odometer reads 1,469 miles, but the true mileage on this vehicle is unknown.

ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION

Power is provided by a 327ci V8 engine and backed by a 700R4 four-speed automatic transmission. Engine bay features include chrome valve covers, an aluminum intake manifold, a four-barrel carburetor with an electric choke, an MSD electronic ignition, and a chrome air cleaner. UNDERCARRIAGE

This Impala SS was factory-equipped with an independent front suspension and a solid rear drive axle. Braking is provided by upgraded power four-wheel discs. A dual exhaust system exits ahead of the rear tires.
