OVERVIEW
This 1956 Chevrolet Bel Air four-door hardtop was restored in 2018 and is powered by a 327ci V8 backed by a Powerglide two-speed transmission. Features include power steering, power brakes, a Vintage Air climate control system, a new stereo with iPhone and iPod connections, and a 12-volt electrical system. Finished in Desert Rose and Cream over a tan vinyl and beige cloth interior, this three-owner Bel Air is available now and comes from the selling dealer with maintenance and mileage records, purchase documents, an owner’s manual, an uninstalled new clock, and a clear Mississippi title.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
The Desert Rose exterior received Cream accents in 2018. Features include chrome bumpers, a chrome grille, a driver-side mirror, a fender-mounted antenna, aftermarket electric windshield wipers, Bel Air emblems and side trim, and a hidden fuel filler. The selling dealer states that the bumpers have been re-chromed but the smaller pieces of brightwork show signs of pitting upon close inspection.
EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES
A set of 15-inch body-color steel wheels with full hub caps is wrapped in new Goodyear whitewall radial tires.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The selling dealer states that the interior was restored in 2018. The front and rear bench seats are upholstered in tan vinyl and beige cloth. Features include a column-mounted automatic shifter, a white vinyl aftermarket armrest, cup holders, a Vintage Air climate control system, manual windows, power steering and brakes, and an inoperative original AM radio. An aftermarket stereo with auxiliary ports that support a headphone jack and iPhone/iPod connections and aftermarket kick panels with speakers have been installed.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
A 110-mph speedometer and gauges for the fuel level and coolant temperature are located ahead of the driver. The odometer reads 32,232 miles, which the selling dealer reports to be accurate. They add that the clock does not work.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
Power is provided by a 327ci V8 and backed by a Powerglide two-speed transmission equipped with a fluid cooler. Engine bay features include a 12-volt electrical system, a new battery, chrome valve covers, an aluminum intake manifold, a chrome air cleaner, an aluminum radiator with an electric fan, and aftermarket electric windshield wipers. The selling dealer states that a tune-up was completed, the spark plugs and wires were replaced, and the Holley carburetor was adjusted at 30,000 miles.
UNDERCARRIAGE
This Bel Air was factory-equipped with an independent front suspension and a solid rear drive axle. Braking is provided by power four-wheel drums. A full-length dual exhaust system exits at the rear.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS
The selling dealer will include maintenance and mileage records, purchase documents, an owner’s manual, and an uninstalled new clock as part of the sale.

The front brakes are disc.
One other correction, the carb was replaced (Brand New) not rebuilt.
Please not that miles are believed to be original and are documented back 20 years or so. This is a real 3 owner car. The second owner only drove the car about 6,000 miles in his 13 year ownership and personally knew the original owner of the car. Also, please note the vehicle has new shocks and leaf springs.

@Woseknows – What condition is paint? Ad says power glide but indicator on dash shows 3 peed automatic can you explain? ...
The cream paint is new. The rest of the paint is in good condition. Minus a few abrasions around typical areas like door edges, trunk edges, etc... It appears to be true survivor paint considering the low miles of the car. We believe the trans was switched with the engine. Thanks
