OVERVIEW
This restored 1972 International Harvester Scout II is powered by a 345ci V8 engine backed by a three-speed automatic transmission with a dual-range transfer case. Features include an Alpine AM/FM/CD stereo, a Grant GT steering wheel, power brakes and steering, tube bumpers, a roll bar, and a bed liner. Finished in metallic orange and equipped with a black removable soft top over an interior protected by black seat covers, this Scout II is available now and comes from the selling dealer with a clear title.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
During the restoration, the exterior was refinished in metallic orange. Features include tubular bumpers, a chrome grille, wheel flares, dual mirrors, and a removable black soft top with plastic windows.
EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES
A set of eight-hole aluminum wheels with manual locking front hubs is wrapped in radial tires.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The front bucket seats and the rear seat are protected by black seat covers. Features include power steering and brakes, floor-mounted transmission and transfer case shifters, a black bed liner, a body-color roll bar, an Alpine AM/FM/CD stereo, and a Grant GT steering wheel. The seller states that the heater control was redirected and has an external switch.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
An 85-mph speedometer and gauges for the fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and voltage are located ahead of the driver. The odometer reads 12,641 miles, but the true mileage on this vehicle is unknown.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
Power is provided by a 345ci V8 engine and backed by a three-speed automatic transmission with a dual-range transfer case. The selling dealer states that a safety inspection was recently performed.
UNDERCARRIAGE
This Scout II is equipped with a solid front axle, a solid rear drive axle, and part-time four-wheel drive. Braking is provided by power front discs and rear drums.
