OVERVIEW
This rotisserie-restored 1948 Ford F1 pickup is powered by a 350ci V8 crate engine backed by a TH350 three-speed automatic transmission. Features include power steering, power front disc brakes, a Vintage Air climate control system, new stainless trim, new glass, and a wood bed floor. Finished in white over a brown vinyl interior, this Ford truck is available now and comes with a clear Montana title.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
During the restoration performed under previous ownership four years ago, the exterior was refinished in white. Features include chrome bumpers, new stainless steel trim, new window seals and glass, dual mirrors, black running boards, and a stepside pickup box with a wood plank bed floor. The seller states there was no rust present during the restoration. A walk-around video can be seen below.
EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES
A set of black steel wheels with chrome dog dish hub caps and trim rings is wrapped in whitewall radial tires.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The bench seat is upholstered in brown vinyl. Features include a floor-mounted shifter, manual windows, power steering, power brakes, an aftermarket turn signal system with safety flashers, and a new Vintage Air climate control system.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
The Omega Kustom Instruments cluster located in an aluminum panel ahead of the driver includes a 140-mph speedometer and gauges for the fuel level, voltage, oil pressure, and temperature. The odometer reads 1,257 miles, which the seller states is the mileage logged since the restoration was completed.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
Power is provided by a 350ci V8 crate engine and backed by a TH350 three-speed automatic transmission. Underhood features include cast aluminum valve covers, an aluminum intake manifold, a four-barrel Holley carburetor, a finned aluminum air cleaner, an HEI distributor, and cast iron exhaust manifolds.
UNDERCARRIAGE
This F1 is equipped with a solid I-beam front axle and a solid rear drive axle. A dual exhaust system exits at the rear. Braking is provided by power front discs and rear drums.
