OVERVIEW
This 1969 Chevrolet Camaro RS/SS was originally equipped with a 396ci V8, but it now has a rebuilt 350ci V8 engine backed by a four-speed manual transmission. Features include power steering, power front disc brakes, a cowl-induction hood, factory power windows, a factory rear window defroster, bucket seats, a center console, and a sport steering wheel with a wood rim. Finished in Hugger Orange and equipped with a black vinyl top over a black vinyl and houndstooth cloth interior, this Camaro comes from the selling dealer with the original window sticker and a clear title.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
The exterior is finished in the original color of Hugger Orange (code 72). Features include a front chin spoiler, hide-away RS headlights, grille area blackout, Z/28 emblems, black accent stripes, a fender-mounted antenna, a cowl-induction hood, a black vinyl top, a driver-side mirror, new weatherstripping, a rear spoiler, and RS taillights and reverse lights. A crack in the paint on the nose of the car is shown in the gallery to the right. An exterior walk-around video can be seen below.
EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES
A set of 17-inch polished aluminum American Racing wheels is wrapped in 235/45/17 front and 275/40/17 rear Cooper Zeon 2XS radial tires.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The front bucket seats and the rear seat are upholstered in black vinyl with black and white houndstooth cloth inserts. Features include factory power windows, a center console with a Hurst manual transmission shifter, power steering and brakes, simulated woodgrain accents, headrests, a factory rear window defroster, and a sport steering wheel with a wood rim.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
A 120-mph speedometer, a 7K-rpm tachometer, and a clock are located ahead of the driver. A set of four digital gauges is mounted at the front of the center console. The odometer reads 54,140 miles, but the true mileage on this vehicle is unknown.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
The original 396ci V8 has been replaced with a rebuilt 350ci V8 engine, which is backed by a four-speed manual transmission. Engine bay features include finned aluminum valve covers, an aluminum intake manifold, a four-barrel carburetor, an air cleaner, and tube exhaust headers.
UNDERCARRIAGE
This Camaro was factory-equipped with an independent front suspension and a Positraction rear end with 3.31:1 gearing. Braking is provided by power front discs and rear drums. A dual exhaust system exits at the rear.

Although I’m not a Chevy this is really nice I had a 68 r/t when I was 16 this made me think of a few things that other people answered z 28 with a 396 as with z28 emblem?

BID: $36,000
Since this Canaro had a 396 engine, did you replace the heater box, when you replaced the 396 with the 350 engine? And if the original window sticker is shown, to me, trying to make it a Z28 clone has actually devalued the original SS/RS 396 value, and the car itself as a Z28 clone. Sad. But it does appear to be a nice Camaro.

That’s a LOT of documentation!
Between the fake Z28 & 302 emblems (why?) & the 1k doc fee (again why?), I'll pass.
