This 1965 Chevrolet Corvette convertible is finished in Nassau Blue with a black soft top over a black vinyl interior. Powered by a Chevrolet ZZ4 350ci V8 crate engine, power is sent to the rear wheels through a Muncie 4-speed manual transmission and a 4:11 rear end. Owned by the seller for 25 years, this C2 is offered with factory literature, service records, and a clear Idaho title in the seller’s name.
Finished in its original shade of Nassau Blue, the car was professionally refinished in 2011; a big-block style hood was added at the time as well. The black soft top was replaced in June of 2000 and is in good condition with no rips or tears. A full-length exhaust is equipped with polished tips exiting through the rear valance. Additional styling features include pop-up headlights, quad taillights and verticle fender vents. All glass is in good condition with no chips or cracking, while all chrome and trim are in good condition as well.
Factory 15” steel wheels feature 1966 Corvette hubcaps and are wrapped in period-correct radial tires installed in October of 2000 and are in need of replacement. Braking is handled by four-wheel disc brakes, while the rear suspension reatures a fiberglass mono-leaf spring, though the original will be included in the sale.
The interior features black vinyl bucket seats with matching black door panels, dash, and carpet. A center console is mounted in between and houses the shifter for the 4-speed manual transmission. The original radio has been replaced with an older aftermarket unit, but no cutting of the factory mounting location was required and the original radio is included in the sale. Additional features include a factory 3-spoke steering wheel, lap belts and manual crank windows. The seller notes the analog clock works intermittently and the windshield wipers do not return to the down position when turned off, but can be manually stopped in the down position.
Behind the factory steering wheel sits instrumentation, including a 160-mph speedometer and a 7k-rpm tachometer, as well as readouts for fuel, engine temperature, voltage, and oil pressure. 13K miles are shown on the odometer, which is stated to be 113k actual miles, 20K of which were added by the seller over 25 years of ownership. The engine was installed 7K miles ago.
Under the hood sits the Chevrolet ZZ4 350ci V8 crate engine, equipped with a Holly 750cfm carburetor. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Muncie 4-speed manual transmission with a 4:11 rear end. The seller notes routine synthetic oil changes, the clutch's replacement in June 2007 at 109K miles, a new battery in October 2020, and a new exhaust system in December 2020.
The sale includes all maintenance records from the seller's ownership tenure and a factory owner's manual.

I’m new to this site and I just had a buddy ask why I’m bidding on this particular Vette and I thought I would share with everyone else. First, I’m a sucker for blue! Second, doesn’t get much better than a crate engine, Muncie 4-speed ,and 4.11 rear end. Last, I like the 25 year ownership....cared for correctly and well sorted. Good luck to me! Lol.
