OVERVIEW
This restored 1960 Jaguar XK150 is a fixed-head coupe powered by a 3.4-liter DOHC inline six-cylinder backed by a four-speed manual transmission with a Laycock de Normanville overdrive unit. Features include four-wheel disc brakes, a telescoping steering column, new upholstery, and chrome knock-off wire wheels. Finished in Pearl Gray over a red leather interior, this XK150 comes from the selling dealer with a clear title.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
During the restoration, the exterior was refinished in Pearl Gray. Features include chrome bumpers, chrome grille and headlight trim, driving lights, dual fender-mounted mirrors, a retractable fender-mounted antenna, and chrome trunk lid and license plate trim. EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES
A set of 16-inch chrome knock-off wire wheels is wrapped in 6.00-16 bias-ply tires.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The front bucket seats and the rear seats have been upholstered in red leather. Features include manual steering and brakes, a floor-mounted manual shifter, and manual windows. Additional features include a telescoping steering column, woodgrain accents, and red carpeting.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
A 140-mph speedometer, a 6K-rpm tachometer with an integrated clock, and gauges for the fuel level, amperage, oil pressure, and engine temperature are located ahead of the driver. The odometer reads 97,342 miles, but the true mileage on this vehicle is unknown.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
Power is provided by a 3.4-liter DOHC inline six-cylinder engine equipped with dual SU side-draft carburetors and backed by a four-speed manual transmission with a Laycock de Normanville overdrive unit. Engine output was 210 horsepower when new.
UNDERCARRIAGE
This Jaguar was factory-equipped with an independent front suspension and a solid rear drive axle. Braking is provided by four-wheel manual discs. A dual exhaust system exits at the rear.
