OVERVIEW
This 1969 Dodge Coronet R/T two-door hardtop is powered by a freshly rebuilt year-correct 440ci Magnum V8 mated to a newly rebuilt three-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes 16-inch Magnum 500 wheels, simulated woodgrain interior trim, Borgeson power steering, and a dual exhaust system. Finished in Light Bronze over a tan vinyl interior, this fifth-generation Coronet is now offered with a broadcast sheet, the removed original wheels and hub caps, and a clear title.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
Under previous ownership, the body was repainted in the original color of Light Bronze (code T3) and accented with a black R/T accent band at the rear end. According to the seller, the sheet metal and pans are original and rust-free. Exterior features include quad headlights, chrome brightwork, a bronze vinyl roof, rocker moldings, side mirrors, and a dual exhaust system.
EXTERIOR – WHEELS AND TIRES
Magnum 500-style 16-inch chrome wheels are wrapped in General tires.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
According to the seller, all of the interior except the carpet is original. The cabin is fitted with tan vinyl fold-forward bucket seats up front, a bench in the rear, and matching materials for the door panels, dash, console, and carpeting. Amenities include simulated woodgrain trim, R/T-embroidered carpeted floor mats, a radio, a three-spoke steering wheel, a dome light, and a trunk mat.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
Instrumentation includes a sweeping 150-mph speedometer, a clock, and gauges for the voltage, fuel level, and coolant temperature. The five-digit analog odometer reads 26,215 miles, but the true mileage on the chassis is unknown.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
The reportedly year-correct and freshly rebuilt 440ci Magnum V8 received service within the last 800 miles, per the seller. Power is fed to the rear wheels via a newly rebuilt three-speed automatic transmission.
UNDERCARRIAGE
A Borgeson quick-ratio power steering box has been added.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS
The sale includes a broadcast sheet and the removed original wheels and hub caps as shown in the gallery to the right.
