OVERVIEW
This rust-free 1968 Plymouth Road Runner hardtop is powered by a 426ci Hemi V8 backed by a manual four-speed transmission. Features include dual four-barrel carburetors, AM radio and dual exhaust. Finished in Black with black vinyl top and black interior, this Galen Govier-documented 1968 Plymouth Road Runner hardtop is available now and comes from the selling dealer with an owner’s manual and a clear title.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
The exterior has been refinished in Black. Features include chrome bumpers, power bulge hood with Hemi call-outs, driver-side rear-view mirror, Road Runner emblems and decals, rocker trim, black vinyl top, and rear body trunk trim and Hemi emblem.
EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES
A set of 15-Inch black steel wheels, with dog dish hubcaps, is wrapped in Coker redline radial tires.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The front and rear bench seats are upholstered in black vinyl. Features include manual steering and brakes, floor-mounted shifter and AM radio.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
The instrument panel consists of a 120-mph speedometer and gauges for the fuel level, alternator and coolant temperature. An aftermarket 8,000-rpm tachometer is mounted on the steering column. The odometer reads 44,800 miles, which the selling dealer reports to be accurate.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
Power is provided by a 426ci Hemi V8 backed by a manual four-speed transmission. The selling dealer states that the matching numbers engine was recently rebuilt by Tim Banning at For Hemis Only.
UNDERCARRIAGE
This Road Runner is factory-equipped with an independent front suspension with torsion bars, and rear leaf springs and Dana 60 solid rear-drive axle with 3.54:1 gears.
