OVERVIEW
This frame-off restored 1931 Cadillac Series 355A restomod is powered by a Cadillac CTS-sourced LS2 V8 engine backed by a 4L65-E four-speed automatic transmission. Features include a Kugel Komponents independent front suspension, Wilwood power disc brakes, power rack-and-pinion steering, body modifications, dual side-mount spare tires, true knock-off Dayton wire wheels, a custom interior with power bucket seats, a tilt steering column, and air conditioning. Finished in black cherry over a maroon vinyl interior, this reportedly rust-free Cadillac comes from the selling dealer with a clear Tennessee title.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
During the restoration, the top was chopped 1.5 inches and the steel bodywork was finished in black cherry. Features include re-chromed original bumpers, chrome dual headlight buckets, a chrome radiator shell with a stone guard, custom door handles, smooth color-matched running boards, a passenger-side storage compartment, a shaved trunk lid handle, and dual taillights. A walk-around video can be seen below.
EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES
A set of 18-inch front and 20-inch rear color-matched knock-off Dayton wheels is wrapped in BFGoodrich g-Force T/A radial tires with 2005 date codes. The side-mounted spare wheels are also equipped with BFGoodrich tires.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The custom interior installed by Steve Holcomb of Pro Auto Custom Interiors in Knoxville, Tennessee is furnished with maroon vinyl power bucket seats and custom door panels. Features include power rack-and-pinion steering, power brakes, a tilt steering column with an automatic shifter, a three-spoke banjo steering wheel, air conditioning, woodgrain accents, and matching trunk upholstery. The selling dealer states that the wiper motor works, but the arm is not attached.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
The set of Classic Instruments gauges, which includes a 140-mph speedometer, an 8K-rpm tachometer, and readouts for the fuel level, voltage, coolant temperature, and oil pressure, is mounted in a woodgrain and chrome panel in the center of the dashboard. The odometer reads 115 miles, but the true mileage on this vehicle is unknown.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
Power is provided by a Cadillac CTS-sourced fuel-injected LS2 V8 engine and backed by a 4L65-E four-speed automatic transmission. Engine bay features include a body-color firewall and coil covers, a custom fresh air intake tube, and a Griffin aluminum radiator with an electric fan. The battery has been relocated to the trunk. Gas is supplied by an aluminum fuel cell.
UNDERCARRIAGE
The reportedly original chassis has been reinforced and modified to accept a Kugel Komponants independent front suspension, a stainless steel four-link rear suspension, and a nine-inch Ford solid rear drive axle with 3.73:1 gearing. According to the selling dealer, the vehicle is equipped with billet coilovers and has been lowered by nearly two inches. Braking is performed by Wilwood power discs. A stainless steel dual exhaust system exits at the rear.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS
The selling dealer charges a $250 documentation fee in addition to the sale price of the vehicle.

@Longhorn – Do you happen to know the dimensions of the cab? Legroom, seat height, shoulder ...
Unfortunately I don't, however I just went out and sat in it. I'm 5'9 and the power seat travels so far back that I can't even reach the pedals. As far as height when I lower the seat all the way down, I have a good 5-6 inches above me. I'd say 6'5 or 6'6 would still be comfortable in this car, possibly even taller as the seat also leans back and forward some also. It blew me away there was that much adjustment in it.
@MrSteve – Are there any nicks scratches or concerns? Is it sorted out and driving well? ...
I can't find any blemishes anywhere on this thing. It hasn't been driven a ton as it only has 140 miles on it. But everything worked on it when we inspected it and drove fantastic!

@LuckysDad – How long ago was the build completed? How many miles since it's completion? ...
The build was finished approximately 2009-2010. It only has 140 miles on the build. Been to plenty of shows, but was trailered to nearly all of them.
