OVERVIEW
This 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air was owned by the same family since 1960 and is powered by a 265ci V8 backed by a Powerglide two-speed automatic transmission. Features include manual steering and brakes, an AM radio, and the original paint. Finished in black over a silver vinyl and black cloth interior, this Chevrolet is available now and comes from the selling dealer with a clear title.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
The exterior is finished in the original factory-applied black paint. Features include chrome bumpers and trim, a silver grille, gold hood and fender trim, Bel Air side trim, rocker moldings, a rear antenna, and a hidden fuel filler. The selling dealer states that the paint finish is original with a few touch-up areas and shows age-related imperfections. A walk-around video can be seen below.
EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES
A set of black 14-inch steel wheels with full-wheel covers is wrapped in whitewall bias-ply tires.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The front and rear bench seats are upholstered in silver vinyl and black cloth inserts. Features include manual brakes and steering, a column-mounted transmission shifter, vacuum windshield wipers, manual windows, a heater, and an AM radio. The selling dealer states that the interior is original except for the replacement carpet and the front seat bottom upholstery. The replaced parts were reportedly purchased from a Chevrolet dealer.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
The instrument panel includes a 120-mph speedometer and gauges for the fuel level and coolant temperature. The odometer reads 69,701 miles, which the selling dealer reports as accurate.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
Power is provided by a 265ci V8 and backed by a Powerglide two-speed automatic transmission. The selling dealer believes the engine and transmission are original.
UNDERCARRIAGE
This Bel Air was factory-equipped with an independent front suspension and a solid rear drive axle. Braking is provided by manual four-wheel drums. A single exhaust system exits at the rear.
