OVERVIEW
This 1963 Chevrolet Corvette convertible comes with a reportedly numbers-matching drivetrain, a refurbished interior, a black retractable soft top, and a color-matched removable hardtop. Power comes from a rebuilt 327ci small-block V8 paired with a rebuilt Muncie M20 four-speed manual transmission. Features include full gauges, radio, and whitewall tires. Finished in Riverside Red over a black vinyl interior, this garage-kept C2 Corvette is now offered with restoration documentation, an owner’s manual, a service manual, custom hardtop and car covers, a hardtop cart, and New York registration in the seller’s name.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
The Riverside Red exterior features chrome brightwork, concealed headlights, a driver-side mirror, rocker moldings, and a luggage rack. The black retractable top is accompanied by a body-color removable hardtop along with a hardtop storage cart.
EXTERIOR – WHEELS AND TIRES
Turbine-style 15-inch genuine knock-off wheels are wrapped in 215/75-sized Hankook Optimo whitewall tires.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The two-seat interior is fitted with black vinyl buckets matched to the door panels, dash, and carpeting. Amenities include a radio and a heater.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
Instrumentation includes a 160-mph speedometer, a 7,000-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges for the fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and voltage. The five-digit mechanical odometer reads 2,402, but the true mileage on the chassis is unknown.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
The reportedly numbers-matching L76 327ci V8 was rated at 340 horsepower. Power is transferred to the rear wheels via a reportedly numbers-matching Muncie M20 floor-shifted four-speed manual transmission and a Positraction rear end with 4.11:1 gears. According to the seller, the engine, gearbox, and rear differential have been rebuilt.
UNDERCARRIAGE
Additional photos showing the underside are available in the carousel to the right.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS
