OVERVIEW
This 1970 Dodge Charger R/T underwent a reportedly $100,000+ rotisserie restoration and is powered by the original 440ci Six Pack V8 connected to the original TorqueFlite 727 three-speed automatic transmission and rear end. Features include bucket seats, a center console, hide-away headlights, 440 hood stripes, and hood pins. Finished in Plum Crazy over a Charcoal and Black vinyl interior, this Charger is available now and comes with the build sheet, restoration receipts and photos, and a clear title.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
During the rotisserie restoration completed in 2017, the body was refinished in the original color of Plum Crazy (FC7). Features include chrome bumpers, R/T emblems, black 440 hood stripes, hood pins (J45), a fender-mounted antenna, white side accent stripes (V6W), color-keyed door scoops, a flip-up fuel cap, and a black taillight panel.
EXTERIOR WHEELS AND TIRES
A set of chrome 14-inch Magnum 500 wheels is wrapped in 225/70/14 Winston Winner G/T radial tires.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The front bucket seats and the rear seat are upholstered in Charcoal and Black vinyl (C6XA). Features include manual steering and brakes, manual windows, a center console (C16) with an automatic transmission shifter, woodgrain accents, an AM radio, and black carpeted floor mats with R/T logos.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
A 150-mph speedometer, an 8,000-rpm Tic Toc Tach, and gauges for the fuel level, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and alternator are located ahead of the driver. The odometer reads 47,925 miles, but the true mileage on this vehicle is unknown. The seller states that the car has accrued fewer than 500 miles since the restoration was completed.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
Power is supplied by the original 440ci Six Pack V8 (E87) and backed by the original TorqueFlite 727 three-speed automatic transmission (D32). The seller states that an oil change was performed in the fall of 2022 and that the body numbers, VIN, data plate, motor, and transmission match.
UNDERCARRIAGE
This Charger is equipped with an independent front suspension and the reportedly original 3.55:1 rear end (A36). Braking is provided by manual four-wheel drum brakes. A dual exhaust system exits at the rear.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS
The seller will include the build sheet and restoration receipts and photos as part of the sale.
