OVERVIEW
This 1967 Chevrolet El Camino was equipped with new body panels and paint in 2018. It is powered by a 350cid V8 crate engine backed by a rebuilt TH400 three-speed automatic transmission. Features include aftermarket air conditioning, power steering, power four-wheel disc brakes, and Positraction. Finished in Marina Blue over a light blue vinyl interior, this El Camino comes with a New York state registration document in the seller's name.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
Five years ago, new fenders, inner fenders, quarters, and door skins were installed, and the car was refinished in the original color of Marina Blue (code F). According to the seller, anything that was rusty on the car was replaced, not repaired. Features include chrome bumpers, an aluminum grille, a big-block hood, dual mirrors, lower-body side trim, and tailgate trim with a black insert.
EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES
A set of 17-inch American Racing Torq Thrust wheels is wrapped in 215/50R17 front and 245/45R17 rear Nexen N3000 radial tires.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The bench seat and door panels are upholstered in light blue vinyl. Features include power steering, air conditioning, a column-mounted automatic transmission shifter, manual windows, a three-spoke steering wheel with an SS emblem, and a blue dashboard with a blue top pad. The seller states that the radio does not work.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
A 120-mph speedometer and gauges for the fuel level, battery, coolant temperature, and oil pressure are located ahead of the driver. A Sunpro tachometer and an aftermarket set of gauges for the oil pressure, voltage, and coolant temperature are mounted under the dashboard. With 1,200 miles added during current ownership, the odometer reads 500 miles. According to the seller, there are fewer than 1,000 miles on the upgraded engine.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
Power is provided by a 350cid V8 crate engine and backed by a rebuilt TH400 three-speed automatic transmission. Engine bay features include chrome valve covers, an aluminum intake manifold, a four-barrel carburetor, and a polished aluminum air cleaner. An oil change was completed in September 2022.
UNDERCARRIAGE
This El Camino was factory-equipped with an independent front suspension and a solid rear drive axle with Positraction. Braking is provided by power four-wheel discs. A dual exhaust system exits behind the rear tires.
