OVERVIEW
This 1958 Chevrolet 3600 Apache stepside pickup is powered by the reportedly original and recently serviced 3.9-liter inline-six mated to an automatic transmission and four-wheel drive. Equipment includes a wood-lined bed floor, a hitch receiver, a radio, and chrome hubcaps. Finished in Arctic Beige over a black vinyl interior, this Apache is now offered by the selling dealer with a clear Florida title.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
The reportedly original Arctic Beige (721) exterior finish received minor paint work, according to the selling dealer. Exterior features include satin black bumpers, quad headlights, a driver-side mirror, an embossed tailgate, a wood-plank bed floor, and a hitch receiver. The selling dealer notes corrosion inside the cargo box.
EXTERIOR – WHEELS AND TIRES
Black steel wheels with chrome center caps are wrapped in tires that were recently rotated.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The inside of the cab is appointed with a black vinyl bench seat, matched to the rubber flooring material and upper dash pad. The door panels and dash face are color-matched to the exterior. Features include a radio and a fire extinguisher.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
Instrumentation includes a 100-mph speedometer and supporting gauges for the coolant temperature, voltage, oil pressure, and fuel level. Additional information is provided by an 8K-rpm tachometer and a coolant temperature gauge. The five-digit mechanical odometer reads 67,579 miles, but the true mileage on the chassis is unknown.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
The reportedly original 3.9-liter inline-six received a recent oil change and a new battery. Power is transferred to all four wheels via a column-shifted automatic transmission and a transfer case.
