1970 CHEVROLET CAMARO Z28 4-SPEED

OVERVIEW

This 1970 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 is a body-off restoration powered by a 350ci V8 engine backed by a four-speed manual transmission. Features include power steering, power four-wheel disc brakes, a functional cowl-induction hood, a rear spoiler, a Jensen AM/FM/cassette stereo, a tilt steering column, bucket seats, a center console, and Heidts tubular front control arms. Finished in Mulsanne Blue with black stripes over a black vinyl and checkered cloth interior, this Camaro is available now and comes from the selling dealer with engine work-related receipts and a clear title.

EXTERIOR – FEATURES

During the restoration completed within the last five years, the exterior was refinished in the original color of Mulsanne Blue (code 26). Features include chrome bumpers, a black grille with a Z28 emblem, black Z28 stripes, a front chin spoiler, a functional cowl-induction hood, color-keyed sport mirror caps with a manual driver-side remote, rocker trim, Z28 emblems, and a color-keyed rear spoiler. EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES

A set of gray 15-inch Z28 wheels is wrapped in new 235/60/15 Goodyear Eagle ST tires.
 

INTERIOR – FEATURES

The front bucket seats and the rear seat are upholstered in black vinyl with black and white checkered cloth seating areas. Features include power steering and brakes, a center console-mounted manual shifter, a center console with a locking storage compartment, a tilt steering column, LED under-dash lighting, manual windows, woodgrain accents, and a Jensen AM/FM/cassette stereo.

INTERIOR – GAUGES

A set of Dakota Digital gauges with analog readouts for the 140-mph speedometer, 8,000-rpm tachometer, and gauges for the fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and voltage is located ahead of the driver. The true mileage on this vehicle is unknown.

ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION

Power is provided by a 350ci V8 engine and backed by a four-speed manual transmission. Engine bay features include aluminum heads, an aluminum intake manifold, aluminum valve covers, a cowl-induction air cleaner assembly, ceramic-coated tubular headers, an electric vacuum pump, an aluminum radiator, and dual electric fans.

UNDERCARRIAGE

This Camaro was factory-equipped with an independent front suspension and a solid rear drive axle. A set of Heidts tubular front control arms, a Moser rear differential cover, an updated rear carrier, and updated axles have been installed. Braking is provided by power four-wheel discs. A dual exhaust system exits at the rear.
