Vehicle Story

OVERVIEW

This 1949 Chevrolet 3100 is the result of a frame-off restoration and customization process that involved the installation of a custom frame, an adjustable air suspension, Wilwood power disc brakes, a two-tone interior with Vintage Air climate control, power steering and windows, and American Racing wheels. As part of the build, the truck was equipped with a fuel-injected LS3 6.2-liter V8 and an automatic transmission. Finished in Lead Foot Gray over a black and orange leather interior, this modified Chevrolet pickup is available now and comes from the selling dealer with a clear title.

EXTERIOR - FEATURES

During the build process, the body was refinished in custom Lead Foot Gray and accented with black bumpers, a black grille, and black trim and badging. Features include LED headlights, dual mirrors, a one-piece windshield, running boards, wood bed planks with black hardware, and covered tailgate chains.

EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES

This 3100 rides on a set of black American Racing Rally wheels and low-profile radial tires.

INTERIOR - FEATURES

The cabin is furnished with power-adjustable bucket seats covered in black leather with orange accents, quilted inserts, and orange stitching. Those are divided by a custom center console equipped with cup holders and surrounded by door and dashboard panels that match the seats. Features include power steering, brakes, and windows; a tilt steering column; Vintage Air climate control; and a custom sound system with a Kenwood head unit.

INTERIOR - GAUGES

Vehicle information is displayed on an 8K-rpm tachometer, a 160-mph speedometer, and gauges for the coolant temperature, oil pressure, fuel level, and more. The digital odometer currently shows 800 miles, reflecting the mileage accrued since the build was completed.

ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION

Power is supplied by an LS3 6.2-liter V8 equipped with Holley Sniper EFI fuel injection, a cold air intake, and an automatic transmission. The engine breathes through headers and a dual exhaust system that exits before the rear axle.

UNDERCARRIAGE

This 3100 is equipped with a custom frame, an adjustable air suspension, a four-link rear setup, Ridetech components, and a nine-inch Ford rear end. Braking is performed by power Wilwood discs.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS

This Chevrolet pickup previously appeared on AutoHunter, but it is now being relisted at a lower reserve price than before.

@Nachodaddy – Curious what the spotting is on the center console, pic 55. Thanks ...

I believe it’s some of our detail spray that didn’t get wiped down before the photos. It is not stained I know for sure, it’s not currently there
