OVERVIEW
This custom 1933 Ford three-window coupe hot rod has been in the same family since new and receives power from an upgraded 351ci V8 mated to a four-speed automatic transmission. Features include Cragar wheels, shaved door handles, rear-hinged doors, power windows, and VDO instrumentation. Finished in baby blue over a blue cloth interior, this Ford hot rod is now offered with build documentation, photos, and a clear title.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
This coupe has been passed down through generations of the same family following its initial acquisition. The reportedly rust-free exterior is coated in baby blue. Equipment includes an exposed front clip, a teardrop-shaped waterfall grille with a color-matched radiator shell, chrome headlight housings, shaved door handles, rear-hinged doors, dual slim mirrors, and side-exit and rear-exit exhaust outlets.
EXTERIOR – WHEELS AND TIRES
Staggered-sized polished aluminum Cragar wheels with knock-off caps are wrapped in BFGoodrich tires.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The dual-seat interior is fitted with custom blue cloth buckets, matched to the door panels, upholstered dash pad, and headliner. Upgrades include debossed door panel logos and power windows.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
The VDO instrumentation is housed within an engine-turned aluminum bezel and includes a 120-mph speedometer and gauges for the fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and voltage. The five-digit mechanical odometer reads 15,356 miles, but the true mileage on the chassis is unknown.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
The 351ci V8 has been upgraded with De Tomaso finned aluminum valve covers. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a floor-shifted four-speed automatic transmission.
UNDERCARRIAGE
Additional photos of the underbody are shown in the gallery to the right.
