OVERVIEW
This 1932 Ford Highboy five-window coupe is powered by a Ford 347cid stroker V8 backed by a TCI Automotive C4 three-speed automatic transmission. Features include power front disc brakes, an independent front suspension, rack-and-pinion steering, and a tilt steering column. Finished in black over a tan vinyl interior, this Highboy comes with receipts and a clear title.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
The fiberglass reproduction body has been refinished in black. Features include dual headlights with body-color buckets, a polished radiator shell insert, a single windshield wiper, dual rearview mirrors, chrome spreader bars, a hinged trunk lid, and 1948 Chevrolet taillights.
EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES
A set of 15-inch American Racing wheels is wrapped in staggered-width Hankook radial tires. The seller states that the wheels and tires were installed less than two months ago.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The bench seat is upholstered in tan vinyl. Features include tan vinyl door panels with manual windows, a tilt steering column, a banjo steering wheel with a tan grip, a floor-mounted automatic transmission shifter, a trunk-mounted battery, a black dashboard, and tan trim. The seller states that this Ford is not equipped with heat or air conditioning.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
A set of Stewart Warner gauges is located ahead of the driver. An aftermarket tachometer is mounted under the dashboard. With 160 miles added during the seller's two-year ownership, the odometer reads 6,500 miles, but the true mileage on this vehicle is unknown. The seller states that 6,500 miles have been logged on the build.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
Power is provided by a Ford 347cid stroker V8 equipped with AFR heads and backed by a TCI Automotive C4 three-speed automatic transmission. Engine bay features include chrome valve covers, an aluminum intake manifold, a Holley 750-cfm four-barrel carburetor with an electric choke, an oval air cleaner, an MSD electronic ignition, a chrome alternator, an electric water pump, an aluminum radiator, and an electric fan. The seller will complete an oil change before the vehicle is delivered to the winning bidder.
UNDERCARRIAGE
This Highboy is equipped with an independent front suspension with coil-over shocks and manual rack-and-pinion steering and a Ford nine-inch solid rear drive axle with 3.25:1 gears and a limited-slip differential. Braking is provided by power front discs and rear drums. A dual exhaust system flows from Sanderson ceramic-coated headers through Flowmaster mufflers and exits at the rear.
