OVERVIEW
This 1969 Chevrolet Corvette coupe is equipped with the original and numbers-matching L68 427cid tri-power V8 and Muncie M20 four-speed manual transmission. Features include power steering and brakes, air conditioning, a tilt and telescoping steering column, rebuilt carburetors, and removable roof panels. Finished in Cortez Silver over a black vinyl interior, this C3 Corvette comes from the selling dealer with a clear title.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
The exterior is finished in the original factory-applied color of Cortez Silver (code 986), but the selling dealer states some paint touch-up work has been performed at the rear. Wear and patina are visible in the gallery to the right. Features include chrome bumpers, hide-away headlights, a big-block hood, color-keyed removable roof panels, dual mirrors, and a rear-mounted antenna. The original luggage rack has been removed and the holes have been filled with black plugs.
EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES
A set of 15-inch Corvette Rally wheels is wrapped in 215/70 Cooper CS5 Grand Touring radial tires that were installed in 2018.
INTERIOR - FEATURES
The bucket seats were recently reupholstered in black vinyl. Features include manual windows, power steering, a center console-mounted manual transmission shifter, a tilt and telescoping steering column, a three-spoke steering wheel, and new black carpeting. The selling dealer states that the windshield wipers do not function and the air conditioning system does not blow cold.
INTERIOR - GAUGES
A 160-mph speedometer, a 7,000-rpm tachometer, a clock, and gauges for the fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and battery are located ahead of the driver. The odometer reads 63,136 miles, which the selling dealer reports to be accurate.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
This Corvette is powered by the original and numbers-matching L68 427cid V8 equipped with tri-power and backed by the numbers-matching Muncie M20 four-speed manual transmission. When new, the engine officially produced 400 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque. Features include chrome valve covers and an air cleaner. The selling dealer states that the carburetors were rebuilt, a compression leak-down test was performed, the spark plugs were changed, and the engine mounts were replaced 868 miles ago.

The headlights open correctly, the luggage rack does not come with the car, and to our knowledge, it doesn't burn oil. It does blow a little smoke cause it's running rich.
