OVERVIEW
This 1974 MG MGB roadster is powered by a 1.8-liter inline four-cylinder engine backed by a four-speed manual transmission. Within the last five years, it has received several new components that include the paint job, windshield, Moss Motors interior kit, and $500 Nardi steering wheel as well as a front and rear suspension rebuild. Finished in white and equipped with a black soft top over a tan leather interior, this MG comes with a car cover and a clear title in the seller's name.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
The exterior was refinished in the reportedly original cream white in 2018. Features include chrome bumpers with bumper guards, chrome grille trim, a newer windshield and gasket, a manual black convertible top with plastic rear windows, full-length side trim, newer bullet-style mirror housings, and a luggage rack.
EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES
A set of 14-inch Rostyle steel wheels is wrapped in 175/70/R14 Michelin Weatherwise radial tires that were installed in 2018. An alloy valve stem kit has been installed.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The cabin has been furnished with an interior kit from Moss Motors that includes tan leather seat covers, woodgrain trim in various areas, and tan carpeting, door cards, and side panels. Features include manual steering and windows, a center console-mounted manual transmission shifter, an aluminum Nardi steering wheel with a wood rim, black floor mats, and a black padded dashboard. The trunk is equipped with a newer molded carpet kit.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
A 120-mph speedometer, a 7,000-rpm tachometer, and gauges for the fuel level, coolant temperature, and oil pressure are located ahead of the driver. With 310 miles added during the seller's three years of ownership, the odometer reads 16,970 miles, which the seller reports to be accurate.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
Power is provided by a 1.8-liter inline four-cylinder engine equipped with dual carburetors and backed by a four-speed manual transmission. The engine is equipped with an alloy valve cover and newer spark plugs and ignition wiring.
UNDERCARRIAGE
During the series of updates, the front and rear suspensions were rebuilt. Braking is provided by manual front discs and rear drums. A single exhaust system exits at the rear through dual outlets.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS
The seller will include a car cover with the purchase of the vehicle.

@theloys – Good evening in the UK. As I am sure you know, a car this age is not 100% rust free. I can comfortably state the car is 99% rust free. The underbody was sprayed with a sealant. You should be able to zoom in on the pictures.... vr, theloys ...

@Bobboson – 116970 miles is a lot. Is there any info on an engine/transmission rebuild? Thanks ...
Good afternoon: Relatively speaking that is about 2,387 miles per year. Most cars will go 200K before an engine rebuild. I can tell you the cylinders compression was checked about 310 miles ago and they were all good. There is zero oil leaking, it runs without a miss, and it does not burn any oil. I know the previous owner purchased it from a dealer and he did not have any problems with the engine or tires. The car is stored in a garage, protected from the sun and other elements. I wish you could come over for a test drive. You could also send someone over who you know lives in Columbus, Ohio...... vr, theloys
