OVERVIEW
This international-market 1981 Nissan Patrol LG-61 is a four-wheel-drive sport utility vehicle that was imported to the United States by a company that has restored more than 50 vehicles. It received an exterior and interior refresh and is powered by a carbureted 4.0-liter inline-six mated to a rebuilt four-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case. Equipment includes auxiliary lights, air conditioning, heat, a Bluetooth stereo, and a rebuilt braking system. Finished in light blue and equipped with a white hardtop over a reupholstered light brown vinyl interior, this Patrol is now offered by the selling restoration company with Vermont registration.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
The two-door body received rust repair and a refinish in light blue within the last year. Exterior features include a bright front bumper, auxiliary lighting, a mesh grille, triple windshield wipers, black mirror housings, aluminum side steps, sliding side rear windows, mud flaps, and a vinyl-covered rear-mounted spare tire on a swing-away mount.
EXTERIOR – WHEELS AND TIRES
White 15-inch steel wheels are wrapped in Montana tires.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The cab is fitted with reupholstered brown vinyl front seats, inboard-facing jump seats in the rear, and matching upholstery for the door panels and flooring. Features include safety belts, tinted windows, air conditioning, heat, a dome light, and an AM/FM/CD/Bluetooth audio system.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
Instrumentation consists of a 140-km/h speedometer along with auxiliary gauges for the fuel level, voltage, oil pressure, and coolant temperature. The five-digit mechanical odometer reads about 50,000 kilometers, but the true kilometrage on the chassis is unknown.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
The 4.0-liter inline-six was rated at 135 horsepower when new. The selling restoration company states that the carburetor and the four-speed manual transmission were restored within the last 1,500 miles two years ago. Power is transferred to all four wheels via a dual-range transfer case.
UNDERCARRIAGE
The braking system was reportedly restored within the last two years.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS
The videos below show the exterior and interior conditions of the vehicle as well as a driving demonstration. The vehicle comes with Vermont registration because titles are not issued in Vermont for vehicles older than 25 years old. According to the selling restoration company, the buyer can apply for a title in states that issue titles for vehicles that age and older.
@Escofon – I try to talk to the auction, it seems that due to this error the entire auction will be damaged given the little time that remains, just a few hundred dollars more and it would reach the base price. ...

@Sross – Okay try this again I did not mean to and will not abide by the b i d I was trying to put in $18,100 the system came back and said I had to do a minimum of $18,600 I tried to delete everything and put in $18,600 but apparently some things were not deleted and it put in a bid for 1 million $818,000 at on and $600 I'm obviously not fitting that much it should have been $18,600 then the next guy could have chosen to go up or what but it went from $18,100 to 20,000 it's not what was intended ...

There is one hour left to finish this auction, it remains to raise the bids a little more to reach the reserve price. Close to winning it! These cars are an investment that go up in price frequently.
@tnarasimha – who does this car belong to. ...
Thanks for asking, the question is not very clear to me. I will give you several possible answers: It belongs to our company, for decades it had the same owner who took care of this car with a lot of love and met all the technical requirements of a responsible firm. The car was originally bought in Portugal and brought to America by its owner on one of his business trips. It currently belongs to our company, we are frequent sellers on AutoHunter, and have sold several cars with the document characteristics of this one. Let me know if this was the answer, if not please do it again in a more timely manner. Thanks for your interest and your bids! 🙂

@gulfsouth – I’m not clear on your answers to some of the questions asked so I’ll see if you can clarify . Does the air conditioner work well?. Do all the gauges, fuel, temp, alternator work? Do the lights other than the backup lights work ? Meaning the headlights , blinkers, brake lights, and tail lights. Do they all work? Thanks ...
Thank you for your question: 1. A/C mechanism works perfectly, it is strong. 2. Guages work fine, speed and gas ok, not sure if temp gauge is accurate. 3. Absolutely the entire lighting system, front, rear, internal, everything, works perfectly. Let me know if you have any more questions.
