OVERVIEW
This unrestored 1961 Pontiac Ventura is powered by a 389cid V8 engine backed by a three-speed automatic transmission. Features include power steering, power brakes, clock, AM radio, E-Z-Eye tinted glass, heater-delete, and new Coker Classic wide whitewall tires. Finished in Mayan Gold over a charcoal gray, silver, and white vinyl interior, this Pontiac comes with the original owner's manual, PHS documentation, copy of the original invoice, and clear title.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
According to the seller, the unrestored exterior has been refinished in the original color of Mayan Gold (code T) about 40 years ago, Features include chrome bumpers, full-length body side trim, dual rear-view mirrors, and rear body trim.
EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES
A set of black 14-inch steel wheels is wrapped in 215/75 R14 whitewall Coker Classic tires that were installed in May of this year.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The front bench seat and rear seat are upholstered in charcoal gray, silver, and white vinyl. Features include AM radio, column-mounted automatic transmission shifter, power steering, manual windows, black and silver trim including door panels, and factory heater-delete.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
The instrument panel includes a 120-mph speedometer, clock, and gauges for the fuel level, and battery. The odometer reads 58,010 miles, which the seller reports to be accurate.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
Power is provided by a 267-horsepower 389cid V8 and backed by a three-speed automatic transmission.
UNDERCARRIAGE
This Pontiac is equipped with an independent front suspension and a solid rear-drive axle. A single exhaust exits at the rear. Braking is provided by power four-wheel drums.

It starts with a touch of the key and idles smooth and quiet the moment it fires up. The transmission shifts beautifully, and the brakes are excellent. It amazes me what a smooth ride this car has! Some lucky guy or gal is going to get a great car. Very hard to find an unmolested Ventura bubbletop in this condition. Thanks everyone! ...

Good morning! The floors, frame, rockers, sills, doors, fenders,trunk, and hood are all rock solid, no rust issues. The undercarriage is a bit dusty, and heavily undercoated in areas, but not hiding any issues. Cars in the hot humid environment of Florida tend to rust up top first. This car has two very small rust spots in the bottom of the left and right rear pillars. Please see the pics with the ruler, each spot is about a quarter of an inch. Also pictured is a spot in the right upper pillar that looks like it had paint work at one time. There is an area on the left of the trunk lid where the paint has bubbled up in a small spot, no rust there, just a paint issue in a small area. It's a great car, and very presentable as is, but not perfect.
