This restored 1963 Chevrolet Impala is powered by a period-correct 409cid V8 engine backed by a four-speed manual transmission. Features include an AM/FM/cassette stereo, a louvered hood, custom taillights, custom accent striping, dummy spotlights, and chrome lake pipes. Finished in Pink Metallic with white vinyl interior, this Impala is available now and comes from the selling dealer with the owner protection plan sheet, a receipt from 1965 for an oil change, an owner’s guide, and a clear title.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
The exterior has been finished in Pink Metallic with custom multi-color accent striping. Features include chrome bumpers, an aluminum grille, headlight bulb shields, hood louvers, chrome dummy spotlights, a fender-mounted antenna, chrome lake pipes, body side trim, dual rearview mirrors, custom taillights, and silver rear body trim.
EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES
A set of 14-inch chrome Appliance five-spoke wheels is wrapped in 215/60/R14 radial tires.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The front bench seat, the rear seat, trim, and door panels are custom upholstered in white pleated vinyl with pink piping. Features include a floor-mounted manual transmission shifter, an AM/FM/cassette stereo, a white vinyl headliner with pink piping, manual windows, and a black dashboard with a white pleated vinyl top pad. The selling dealer states that the radio is not functioning.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
A 120-mph speedometer, a clock, and a fuel gauge are located ahead of the driver. An 8,000-rpm tachometer is mounted on the steering column. The odometer reads 85,383 miles but the true mileage on this vehicle is unknown. The selling dealer states that the tachometer and clock are not functioning.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
Power is provided by a period-correct 409cid V8 engine backed by a four-speed manual transmission. The pink metallic engine bay features include finned-aluminum Offenhauser valve covers, a finned-aluminum air cleaner, pink wiring loom covers, and a body-color matched engine block. A safety inspection was recently performed.
UNDERCARRIAGE
This Impala is factory-equipped with an independent front suspension and a solid rear drive axle. Braking is provided by manual four-wheel drums. A dual exhaust exits at the rear.
