OVERVIEW
This 2009 Pontiac Solstice GXP coupe has covered 8,468 miles since new and is one of 1,152 Solstice coupes produced for the final year of the Pontiac brand. It draws power from a turbocharged 2.0-liter inline-four mated to a five-speed automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential. Equipment includes a Bilstein suspension, a removable Targa roof panel, 18-inch chrome wheels, and a Monsoon audio system. Finished in Mysterious Black over an Ebony leather interior, this Solstice is now offered with a window sticker, a clean CARFAX report, and a clear title in the seller’s name.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
The Mysterious Black exterior has garage-kept, good-condition finishes which are consistent with the car’s low accrued mileage. Features include fog lamps, daytime running lamps, chrome door handles, a removable Targa roof panel, a flush spoiler, and dual exhaust outlets.
EXTERIOR – WHEELS AND TIRES
Chrome 18-inch five-spoke wheels are wrapped in the car’s original 245/45 Goodyear Eagle F1 tires.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The Ebony interior was optioned when new via the Premium package and offers leather bucket seats with GXP embroidery, matched to the door panels, dash, center console, shift knob, and carpeting. Amenities include a leather-wrapped multi-function steering wheel, power windows, power door locks, map lights, cruise control, a seven-speaker Monsoon CD audio system, air conditioning, sport pedals, a remote liftgate release, intermittent windshield wipers, and tinted glass.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
Instrumentation includes a 160-mph speedometer, an 8,000-rpm tachometer, and a fuel gauge. The digital odometer reads 8,468 miles, which is in line with the most recent mileage logged on the CARFAX of 8,467 miles in June.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
Underneath the forward-hinged hood resides a turbocharged 2.0-liter DOHC Ecotec inline-four which was rated at 260 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque when new. Service was performed in June at Gregg Young Chevrolet in Omaha per the CARFAX, and torque is directed to the rear wheels via a console-shifted 5L40E five-speed automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential.
UNDERCARRIAGE
Handling is provided by a four-wheel independent sport-tuned suspension with Bilstein dampers, and stopping power stems from four-wheel power anti-lock disc brakes.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS
The accident-free CARFAX report begins in September 2009 and shows ownership in Indiana, Texas, and Nebraska. The window sticker shows an original retail price of $34,925 including destination.
