OVERVIEW
This front-wheel-drive 1985 Buick Riviera is powered by a 5.0-liter V8 mated to a four-speed automatic transaxle. Features include power steering and brakes, power front seats, power locks and windows, air conditioning, cruise control, and a tilt steering column. Finished in cream and equipped with a cream landau half-roof over a burgundy leather interior, this Riviera comes with a CARFAX report and a clear title.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
The body is finished in cream and equipped with a matching landau half-roof. Features include chrome bumpers, dual mirrors, a power antenna, wheel well and rocker trim, heated rear glass, and red accent striping. EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES
A set of black 15-inch steel wheels with wire hubcaps is wrapped in 215/75R15 Goodyear Viva 2 whitewall radial tires.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The power front bucket seats and the rear seat are upholstered in burgundy leather. Features include power steering and windows, a steering column-mounted automatic transmission shifter, a tilt steering column, simulated woodgrain accents, air conditioning, an AM/FM/cassette stereo, and burgundy carpeting. The dash has cracks in it, but it is topped with an aftermarket cover. In addition, the driver's seat has been partially reupholstered.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
An 85-mph speedometer and a fuel gauge are located ahead of the driver. The five-digit odometer reads 73,665 miles, which the seller reports to be accurate. The last reported mileage figure of 25,034 was logged in the CARFAX report in August 2011. A Potential Odometer Rollback was recorded in September 2010.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
Power is provided by a 5.0-liter V8 mated to a four-speed automatic transmission. An oil change was recently completed.
UNDERCARRIAGE
This Riviera was factory-equipped with an independent front-drive transaxle and a solid rear axle. Braking is provided by power front discs and rear drums. The exhaust exits at the rear through a single outlet. The seller states that a new muffler and tailpipe have been installed. A video of the undercarriage can be seen below.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS
The CARFAX report starts in February 1985 and shows ownership in Missouri and Arkansas. An accident that caused damage to the front end was reported in June 1996.
